So, if you haven't by now, watched, or at least known, of Glee, you're either a hermit living at the peak of a mountain in Tibet, or just plain boring. Glee is like the BEST. NEW. SHOW. to hit America (and the rest of the world through the magic known as torrenting) and here's a little summary of it.
So basically, like High School Musical, it's about High School. UNLIKE High School Musical, it has a very (surprisingly) sarcastic and satirical tone, and deals with more adult topics like pregnancy, sex, celibacy, juvenile delinquents�and what have you.
However, the main draw of Glee is the music. That's right, each episode usually dedicates 10 min to a few reditions of popular songs, which is really great when compared to the teeny-boppers that HSM offers. The good thing about Glee is how it takes pop songs, and instead of just having the cast sing the songs the same way, Glee will always portray a rendition that is somewhat different from the original, making theirs unique.
So, I'm going to rank all the songs that can be found on Glee's first music album, Glee Vol. 1, ahead of the release of Vol. 2, which may be ranked later (after I've heard it like, say a month, like what I've did with Glee Vol. 1).
