And yes, expecting Allison not to do the whole waking up from a dream schtick every epi would be like expecting a Quantum Leap without an "oh boy...." I love this show because it's the most realistic unrealistic show on t.v. That's its charm.

If anything, I would be annoyed by the fact that every week she has to work overtime convincing all the men on the show that she is right. You would think by now, when she shared her visions they would be all over them... but every week we have Joe, Lee & Devalos doubting her.

Yeah, I don't get the DA and Scanlon doubting her each week but poor Joe is just SO tired he probably has everything figured out the moment she describes her dream but he just wishes maybe this one time she'd let it slide and he could get some sleep. I think they're actually topping Ghost Whisperer in viewers and demo ratings now. Still a heavily underrated show in terms of quality and yeah so what if Allison is a little slow on the uptake each week, she doesn't get much sleep either. When this show is on it's as good as networks ever get.

The family gift seems to be getting really active on her. Slimeball bomber jerk. We've seen bad cops, but this ffuker takes the cake. I was happy that overmedicate mommy did not turn out to be his accomplice though. On the Ariel boyfriend ep, something was off -- was the kid possessed by his daddy? Bad ep, first bad ep in quite some time.

I think they were going for the idea that he "taught" the baby everything he knew by talking to him (mechanic stuff, etc) and also he called him by the name he wanted, which was his own name. Hence all the information in the guy's head. Was a disappointing ep for sure.

Oh, and it was nice to see a progression in Ariel and Ali's relationship with Ariel going to her right away after she had her vision.

Agree regarding the family gatherings and relationships, but Alison's involvement in cases (like kidnapping the baby) were wildly unrealistic, even within the world the writers/producers have created. As long as I'm here - really liked this week's ep (the future's so bright) - nice to be kept guessing where the story would end - until Tom Verica's character was introduced and then the show's obvious endings of late returned.

I was thinking right away that he was a corrupt cop. And then when he came asking for the notebook, I had a feeling he was going to kill him just to get a hold of it. But it was still a good episode. And I love how Joe gets a hands up just for having the same stress problems as his boss (not to mention keeping himself organized). I got that feel good feeling from seeing his boss wanting to know more about Joe's solar project. It's like validating good people who work hard.

Brilliant idea and wonderfully executed. Plus how much fun was it having Joe's dad open? But then... ANOTHER bad cop? These bastards are becoming too much of a crutch.

His name was Brian. I went out for the night soon after so I don't know what the plot was. I remembered it tonight, and went to go look online to see the full episode but I don't know what the character is, and his name isn't pulling up any scenes. Anyone know who I'm talking about? He's about thirty and has brown hair, and looks pretty average. Anyone know what character he's playing? CBS only has up the latest episode and he's not in it.

I just want to check our his scenes and not, you know, watch the whole four episodes. I'm like three quarters of the way through this "Baby Fever" episode, and no luck so far. Remove this ad New episode is on tonight! Bad news for Leno, everyone! His 10pm is being cancelled and he will go back to his 11:35pm slot as of Feb 1st, then go on hiatus until after the Olympics and continue his old slot. It's going to be half an hour so Conan can keep his Tonight Show. The idiot had it coming! So basically, they screw alot of really good 10pm dramas (granted I never saw Southland, but I heard it was really good), and now he's set to screw over Conan.
