Oh wow, she'll be a recurring character.
Let's see if Wolowitz can convince her to dress up in a Princess Leia Metal Bikini. |

this episode was funny, but after the brilliance of last week's, it felt a little flat to me. but it's still funnier than any other half hour comedy.
and i think Sheldon really was inhaling helium. that voice would be impossible to do otherwise. and the whole time he was talking, it was a really tight shot on him, so i think maybe someone was just out of frame and aiming a helium tank at him. |

I thought tonight's show was cute -- Wolowitz was great when trying to threaten Leonard. And is it just me or are they finally recognizing the comic
brilliance of Penny and Sheldon? Although tonight was their best, there were some great moments. Jim Parsons is fantastic.
Next week Leonard's mother comes for a visit. |

I thought that was one of the funnier episodes of the season, but then again, I've enjoyed all of the episodes with Wolowitz and Bernadette very much. That
actress has fit right into the group with a distinct personality-- a hardcore nerd who isn't steeped in pop culture geekiness -- she's like another,
less explored facet of nerddom. BTW, does Bernadette remind anyone else of Georgia Engel?
The Penny and Sheldon interactions are always gold, and I have begun to notice and appreciate the subtle Texas Twang that comes out when Sheldon is at his most flustered. And another hilarious Wolowitz and off-camera mother scene to top it all off. Kind of sad for Johnny Galecki that the show is at it's best when Leonard is shoved in the background. Wolowitz and Raj >>>>>>>>>>> Leonard. Even Bernadette >>>>> Leonard. |

Leonard is to BBT what Ross is to Friends and Marshall is to HIMYM - not necessary.

I thought Leonard had some funny lines this ep, and he is necessary to be kind of the "normal nerdy" guy.
Last night was great, I kept the Tivo so I can watch again. |

they seriously need to make Raj get over his girl talk issue. he was totally wasted this episode because girls were around

I thought Leonard was kind of a bully in this episode. And that stupid text message he sent to Bern was absolutely ridiculous. Wolo should've decked him.
But Leonard is needed as the relatively sane centre of all the craziness around him.
I agree that Raj's girl talk issue has to go. And soon. Leonard and Penny MUST be broken up soon. Please !! |

that works for me too - but I really hate Marshall more than I dislike Ted.

Oowatanite wrote:Yeah, I agree with this. I did't like that at all. And whoever asked about Bernadette being like Georgia Engel. I totally see that, too. And.... Wolowitz was really great in this episode. While Parsons, is clearly the star, IMO, we shouldn't neglect Simon Helberg (how is that for a name that just rolls off the tongue?)! |
