You know ABC owns the cameras. If they don't want him on then fine, there's nothing to be done about it. But it's not like he has the right to be
on. If enough people are upset that they are shafting Lambert then their ratings will suffer and that will be their punishment.

^I absolutely agree with you! It shouldn't be just Lambert who gets punished, and people do have a way of being excessive about it. But to me, I don't
see it as homosexual, or a black person doing it or a woman doing it. I see it as an offensive sexual act. Unfortunately, because the person doing the act is
gay or a woman or a black person, people will see it as racist or sexist or homophobic. There are alot of things the Eminem did that I found offensive. But I
don't hear people saying "oh you are offended because you're racist against whites or you are sexist against men." No. I find it offensive
because some one had the nerve to do something that I think is a private act. Sex is private to me, however you want to do it. It's not something you want
to glamorize, or shock for the sake of shock value, or just do to get attention. Obviously, Lambert did it to get attention, and he got it. He shouldn't
whine like a crybaby because some of the attention he got was negative.

burnettfollower wrote:But just because you don't see it that way doesn't mean others don't (and, yes, that does work both ways). It would be highly stupid for anyone to say ALL the people who found something offensive did so for any type of ism. The fact is that when a gay man does something straight women have done, he gets called out for it while the women don't as much, a natural assumption could be homophobia. That's not to say everyone that found it offensive did so for that reason, but I also don't think you can write it off as there not being any type of homophobic undertones. |

While yes there are a lot of people who can't stand Adam simply for being gay, I don't think it's all about homophobia.
I just laugh when I think about how many gay people go and have gone through so much shit (losing jobs, being beaten or killed, etc) and how many people are so distressed about poor Adam's plight. Boo fucking hoo. If so many people are outraged by the homophobia that poor Adam has to deal with, go volunteer for causes and events promoting equality or go to PFLAG meetings to support the cause. Not cry about poor Adam. |

No one noticed today how Babwa was trying to get Sherrie to speed up her story about her blind date story. Skeletor's mom had the nerve to ask her about
her romantic life and how she met this guy, but as soon as Sherri begins to get descriptive Babwa had to ask her to get to the point. This bitch who takes up
so much air time when she's on the show has the nerve to ask some one to tell a personal story only to show her true colours by telling her to finish it
off. Babwa, shut up! You asked some oen to tell a story, let them tell it. Some one should tell her the same thing. I wish Whoopi or Joy would interrupt Babwa
one day, in one of her long winded stories, and tell her to shut up or quickly get to the point.

::snooze:: this show needs all the girls at the table in order to capitalize on the conflict. Barbara needs to be there to assert her power over Whoopi, berate
Sherri, keep Lis in line and tolerate Joy. Whoopi NEEDS to be there to jump on everything Sherri says, kissup to Lis (
If they can't even do that, fire Whoopi and that'll solve at least one problem. I know Lis ain't going nowhere, Joy may or may not jump ship but probably not cause her other show is tanking, Sherri may be on thin ice but doubtful....Whoopi hopefully saved up enough $$ where she'll be ok with leaving. Cause clearly thats the only reason she's staying. |

I think the only person on this show that NEEDS the job is Bitsy. Her husband is a has been football player (and notice how quiet she's been lately about
the Tiger scandal - makes you wonder about her hubby.....just saying) and without her income they both would have to find a real jobs.

Did I say there was something wrong with it??
anyone in the entertainment industry or an athlete know that their employment can change in a New York Minute (just like non-celebs) but they get caught up in the money/position/power they forget how far the fall is. |

True that the entertainment industry is fickle, but who is to say that Lis & her "has been" husband aren't fiscally responsible and have been
socking away and investing money for their future? You may hate Lis' opinions and personality, but she strikes me as someone who is smart financially and
isn't putting all her eggs in one basket. She still designs clothing and other things on the side and has put out a book. I don't think Lis'
world will crumble if she loses her spot on The View, because she has other skills and a degree to fall back on. I am not sure what her husband Tim is doing,
because I really don't follow these people, but I have heard that he has done some commentating or something? I'm assuming he has a degree as well and
other skills other than sitting on a bench to fall back on.
Lis is an annoying shrill bitch, but I am giving her the benefit of the doubt that she is also a shrewd businesswoman and not under any delusions that her 15 minutes will last forever. |
