Well I'm sure we'll also be able to say that Sandra plays a better game than Parvati next season, even if it's not quite as aggressive as
Parvati's game.

So long as Sandra is entertaining, I don't care how she plays in relation to others. If she wins, it would just be icing on the cake to what she's
brought and will bring to the show.

But...Russell losing hasn't happened yet either. So you believe one, but not the other.

JaimeCat22 wrote: Oh I'm sorry did I ever say that I dont think that Sandra wins? cause I'm pretty sure that I didnt. I dont really care who wins between Parv and Sandra, because I like them both, however, if Parv deserves it more in the end, I would rather her win. And BTW SU, survivorcuz and missyae all say that according to their sources that Russell doesnt win thats enough for me to believe that one. |

My favorites have only won on "All Star" seasons (Amber in S8, Parvati in S16) so I have high hopes for Parvati again this year. Let's hope she
makes it 3 for 3 in my "faves winning the All Star seasons" tally. I don't really care how she does it. I hate that she's teaming with
Russell but if it gets her to the end again, why not?

The sad thing is Parvati probably has it in the bag. Returning players always result in a terrible, undeserving winner.
See All-Stars (Amber), Guatemala (Danni), and Micronesia (Parvati). None of them deserved to win, especially Danni/Parvati. Danni flat-out told the jury every reason why to vote for Steph but they all expected her to be some honest hero player like in Palau so they couldn't understand that Steph could dominate strategically. Parvati is another one where she needed several quitters and evacuations to save her game. She should have gone 1st but Fairplay quit, then Yau-Man fucked up and got himself booted because he lied to Cirie so she was spared, then she should have gone in a double boot post-swap but that got canned due to Kathy/Jonathan quitting/evacuated from the game. Then the F3 turned to a F2 which saved her ass again, cause Cirie was gonna beat her and Amanda. I don't care if she Immunity whores to the end, it's not a strategy. I applaud those that can win and use strategy on top of that to make it to the end. That's why I'm glad Terry lost in S12 because had he won for just winning Immunity each time and having the idol, it would show that you don't need a single ounce of strategy to win, you just have to be an alpha male toolbag. |

RobVanStratus wrote: I disagree. Danni deserved to win a million times compared to steph. Danni made all the rights move at the right time. She put a low target on her back at all time. As well as Parvati, even though i don't really like her, Parvati did played the game better than anyone else on Micronesia, even Cirie. You can't say she won because of others quitting and evacuation. Who knows? If others didn't quit maybe we could see Parvati playing much earlier! |

If it comes down to it being between 2 previous winners, Parvati and Sandra, then the 'need' factor could be what hurts Parvati the most. The jury
voted for the winner in Sept. and Parvati got her check for winning FvF in May 2008. Pretty sure that Parvati still has almost all of what she won after
taxes. In contrast, Sandra won in Dec. 2003 and could have very well spent much of what she won given that she has children.
The heroes dominate the jury. Rupert and Candice (spoiler from SU) are definite votes for Sandra. JT probably votes for Sandra since he only spends a few days with both of them and missyae said that Parvati screws him over. Given the bad blood between them, I can't see Amanda voting to give Parvati one million dollars especially after Parv won out over her in FvF. Colby has a soft spot for moms so he likely votes for Sandra. Based on spoilers, Courtney is a lock to vote for Sandra. Danielle and maybe Jerri and/or Coach vote for Parvati. |

Jerri is pretty good friends with Sandra, so she'll probably vote for her over Parvati.

And it sounds like she screws over most of the jurors this time. They may have respected her game the first time around, but the second time around (especially for Amanda and Candice) they are more likely to be resentful and jealous. |

Finally read through all the spoilers.. thank you, SU. I am so pumped for the next season, it's going to be amazing. ^_^
I like them both but let's be real, Sandra doesn't have a reputation for being an alliance leader and a strategist like Parvati. If the jury is voting on strategy alone, Parv wins. It probably won't be the case though, I agree with tullfan2. It's an All-Stars season so people have egos that will undoubtedly be bruised and Sandra does need the money more. I'd be happy with either of them winning, to be honest. |

You people honestly think that they are going to look at 2 winners and vote based on which one of them won the million dollars more recently and not vote
for them? hell no, if they were voting based on need, Russell would since he hasnt won the million dollars and he probably is correcting his mistake this time
of telling someone how much he makes in real life.

chapera rocks wrote:Ozzy didn't coattail ride to the end. The mutiny twist did force Yul/Sundra/Becky to pull him in their alliance for good but he could have easily turned on them at the merger to join Raro and Nate, his friend. He stuck with them just as much as they stuck with him. Yes he might have been booted before the end barring his IC wins, but they could have dumped him at the F8 when Adam won Immunity and kept Jonathan around 2 more rounds, but they didn't. He earned his spot, he would have had a bigger majority and an alliance at the merger had Cao Boi/Flicka not randomly flipped on him, Cecilia, and Sundra at the first TC with new Aitu. He played pretty damn good for the wrenches that were thrown into his game. Not like Terry who just relied on stupid strategy to advance, trying to off 2 people from an alliance of 6 a spot in the F6 where they'd be voted off 6th/5th place anyways and when that failed, he only had Immunity wins and made it blatantly obvious when he had an alliance with Courtney/Danielle to trigger the Courtney/Shane blindsides. |

The wrenches thrown in Ozzy's game only benefited him. He had no social game in Cook Islands, and he was dumb enough to throw the second challenge when
his tribe only consisted of 5; the early merge of the 4 tribes saved him there but he still lost his good ally Cecelia in the process.
Ozzy was also on the outs on Aitu until the mutiny, and the only thing that kept him safe were Yul's HII (which Yul strategized with, NOT Ozzy), and Ozzy solely depended on challenge wins to get as far as he did. So to fault Parvati for being a challenge whore is quite hypocritical. Yeah, Parv was supposed to be voted out first in Micronesia until Fairplay quit, but after that she proved to be a great strategist who (with Cirie) engineered a masterful game, and Ozzy was supposed to be a pre-merge boot until the mutiny happened. Things happen in Survivor. There are much more dynamics to Survivor than just avoiding the majority votes going your way. Fact is, Parvati has demonstrated far superior game than Ozzy in both of their seasons. |

WOW Parv was superior over Ozzy in FVF, BUT NOT IN COOK ISLANDS. I DONT EVEN REMEMBER PARV ON COOK ISLANDS LOL.
