Roadblock limits |
Lead | |
|
The roadblock clue in the finale said that Ericka and whichever brother did it had to due to the number of roadblocks their partner had performed. It said
Meghan or Cheyne could do it, presumably since they skipped a roadblock when they did that Fast Forward. I had no idea the roadblock limits were still in
place. When was the last time Phil mentioned them in the show? Season 6? 7?

Are you fucking complaining about it? Would you seriously rather see the whole CHIP and KIM saga, where Kim only did ONE roadblock throughout the entire race
and still won the whole thing??

The last was Karlyn back in season 10 and did 7 roadblocks.

Apprentice Talker wrote:Yes, according to whoever put the info on Wikipedia. But there were 13 roadblocks that season. One was unaired, so no one knows who did it. It was probably Lyn, making it a 6/7 split. Someone would have had to do 7. They were the only team who ran every leg without taking a FF. |

Considering Flo/Zach and Chip/Kim are pretty much considered to the two best winners around here, that pretty much proves how much roadblock limits suck.

A Dying Clown wrote:By whom? Flo sucks so bad I can't even articulate how much she sucks. She was the suckiest winner out of all the sucky winners that have ever sucked on the race. Chip/Kim? Okay, nice people. Glad they beat Colin/Christie. But please, I doubt anyone would say either were superior racing teams. They both got lucky. |

It was on old Sucks back in ezboard when there was an unaired RB posted three years ago.

Yeesh, chill. Not a complaint, just an observation. It's interesting that it's still around but just never mentioned. I had assumed the rule was no longer in place |

I remember Chip and Brandon are the most number of roadblocks 12 (including 2 unaired).

sesefied wrote: All of you are correct. As Lyn explained it to me: Season 10 had 12 legs but 13 Roadblocks, BECAUSE there was the TBC in leg 9 where one leg had 2. There was an unaired RB in Mauritius, on leg 7. This was the episode that had full video spoilers, and then was not shown on air. Lyn did this RB, which consisted of kayaking out to a large boat (I believe this may have been the Isla Mauritia??), Swim over and board that boat, where they were outfitted in an old fashioned "Diver's Bell Helmet". They then had to walk underwater across a path through the coral reef collecting a series of letters. When they had all their letters, they had to unscramble them (still underwater), in order to reveal the name of their next destination, which was the Post Office on the western shore.... They then had to swim back from the boat to their kayak, and paddle all the way back to shore. So of the 13 RB's she did 6, Karlyn 7. Interestingly...As Enrico said, Lyn and Karlyn were the ONLY team to do the full 13 RB's that season, as both Tyler and James and Rob and Kimberly had FF's...leaving their totals at 6/6 (including the unaired RB). |

Chip and Kim the best winners?
I'll give Chip chops for being a non-threatening black man, but part of a "best winning" team? They got lucky by picking up on the flight delay before the others, but, worse, they picked up on the flight delay because they arrived so friggin late-last- at the second-last pit stop in Edmonton. Speaking of Edmonton, Jaime's pics should be up any day now. |

Roadblocks limits always should've been there. Bowling Moms/Mirna Schmirna defo would've at LEAST made F3 if they were in place in Season 5, those
couple teams had fucking pathetic females.
I remember when Nicole(I think? Her partner was that Christian psycho Brandon with the blond curls) just said "Roadblock! You honey!" |
