Biggest Twist the Producers ever threw into the game? |

For me its a toss up between inserting Burton and that @!$! Lillian back into the game in the Pearl Islands. That was beyond a twist it was ridiculous

The P.I twist was fine. Revenge is always sweet. I think hidden idols are more unfair than that twist.
Even if it DID get Lil into the final snore. |

The PI twist directly rewarded bootees and punished actual survivors. The hidden idol tends to fuck over the holder more often than take him to finals, so I
think it's more fair than outcasts. I don't think anything is more unfair than getting to come back in the game after being voted out, and that was the
biggest twist. Africa was the most surprising, of course, because we didn't know twists were possible.

The outcast twist is probably even more "unfair" than HIIs. The difference is that while the HII hogs airtime and rarely entertains, the outcast
twist was a huge part of making the PI endgame the best ever.

I think one outcast twist was deserving for that season's theme.
And I do like the hidden immunity idol. I just wish the idol had to be used every second tribal council, so that it would be in play more. :) |

Actually, the hidden immunity idol still isn't tremendously fair. Again, like much of this game: There's a lot of luck involved.
I think tribes should be forced to switch every two three episodes. Yeah... Fuck yeah.. |

No merge at Thailand. I guess they realized that Shii-Ann would flip and make the season even more predictable. Except that her tribe sucked ass and got
Pagonged anyway.

Even if they never did the Outcast twist, we'd be saying at this point "when are they going to bring back booted players? Oooh... a revenge theme, how
cool! Just to see what shit goes down!"
I say we appreciate the Outcast twist for one reason alone: We got to see what would actually happen in that case and now never have to see it again. |

And also, Osten would still would have quit, given Drake the lead and Rupert would have ran the whole show anyway.

The outcast tribe was a ridiculous twist. Bringing back a bunch of well fed, well rested losers to battle against two starving, most tired and emotionally
drained tribes was unfair. They didn't have to deal with challenges, social dynamics or strategy for a whole week. Expecting any outcome other than the
outcast tribe winning the challenge was beyond stupid.

The outcast twist sucked because it pissed all over the 'fire equals life' game mythos and robbed the torch snuffing ceremony of whatever gravitas we
were pretending it had. It was more of a total game-fuck than a twist.

lets just be glad that the outcast twist was one the producers actually pinpointed as being a terrible idea....hence its only and last appearance is PI, tribal
switches are also unfair, but admittedly does cause unpredictability...i just hated that it occured so early in guatemala.....imagine a bobby jon, danii,
brandon and judd/blake final four

Leader twist and the final 3 were pretty meh
Outcast (s7), Switch (s3), Fake Merge (s5), Exile (s10), Mutiny (s13), 1st Impressions (s18) were pretty awesome The 2 teams twist during the first post-merge IC (s14) was the worst. |

Tribe Switch, still creates drama. Kind of glad MB held back on that one this season, it's nice to change things up.
Exile was always retarded. The HII is on its 9th season for better or worse, we can live with it I suppose. -SJ™ |

The Outcast tribe switch had to be the biggest twist in Survivor History, no question.
While I can see why the original S3 switch was big, and so was the fake merge in S5, that Outcast twist blew all away and since |

Adding Stephenie and Bobby Jon to Season 11 was a huge one.
