At least if you do get in an accident the damage would be minimal...no one is going over 15 mph

The roads are starting to really suck here as are the drivers who forgot what its like to drive on snow

I'm getting 12 inches tonight!
Oh and we're also having a blizzard! |

Those 12 inches wouldn't be snow, eh Rudy?

Roads were nasty here tonight. We got snow, then sleet, now rain. The cretin truck and SUV drivers on the expressways who insist on going over the speed limit
in this weather should all be shot. I have to drive to my sisters' place and back tomorrow and am dreading it already.

I think most of our snow is heading to Cheeseland instead. First shoveling today. About 15 to go for the season I'd bet.

Just rainy and cold here. I spent the evening baking cookies, so we're set in case it ever decides to so anything outside.
Personally, I'd trade a dozen or so for some warm socks. I'll toss in some chocolate pretzels, if they're clean. |

What kind of cookies?

Spritz. Pressed sugar cookies. Festive trees, Christmas flowers, ornaments. Many sprinkles, in assorted holiday colors. I also finally found the holiday shaped
pretzels, so we have bells, trees, and stars. Candy and fudge to follow, I assume.
Too bad I don't eat sweets. Not one damn cookie. |

If you made any pecan crescent cookies, I'll take two dozen, OK?

If she made gingersnaps, I was going to trade her some warm socks for a dozen...

I don't know how you people do it. I don't know how I did it for over 30 years. It is only 45 degrees here and my hands and feet are like blocks of
ice. I am pretty sure if I was ever exposed to below freezing temperatures again I would drop dead on the spot.

But Pseudie, it's wonderful not having the same boring 70-80 degrees every day!
This storm is a dud, at least for me. It's blowing a little, but no blizzard, because what snow we did get is now glued down by all the freezing rain we got. |

OK so it's 43 degrees here this morning and no overnight snow...just a helluva lot of rain / sleet yesterday. It this Al Gore's fault?

We've got about 4 inches of snow here in central connecticut. It was hailing about an hour ago but that seems to have changed to sleet now.

This is not global warming. Something tells me an ice age is coming on!

I seem to have made it through the night alright. My feet were still cold so, fearing frostbite, I gnawed them off. It might have been better to put on socks,
but then I would have had to get off the couch, and I was watching "Better Off Ted" so that really wasn't an option.
Hollybear is dead. I don't have any proof of that, but she never showed up here last night, so I assume she died en route. Probably eaten by dire wolves. Poor Hollybear. I MISS HER SO MUCH ALREADY!!! |

Which icon, though? She's had so many.
I vote for the little dinosaur, that's how I remember her best. |
