The melody sounds like a tweaked version of My Heart Will Go On to me.. And at least with Titanic's theme, the instrumental track suited the song well and gave the whole romantic oceany vibe. I was hoping for something far more epic, but still, just like My Hands in FFXIII, a lot will depend on the context of the song, so we shall see..

yeah, it just seems like it doesn't reach the epic levels that you'd think a movie as ground breaking and hyped as Avatar deserves. It sounds like the adventure theme to a movie with random lyrics thrown in. Not feeling it at all. The Titanic theme had a clear identity to it and matched perfectly with the score that had clear celtic influences (Horner was channeling Enya at the time because she was Cameron's first choice for the composer part) "I See you" sounds like it's trying too hard to be some sort of futuristic anthem but fails miserably. "Run" or even "My Hands" should have been the direction they went for the theme song. (and it doesn't matter what context it's in, a good song is a good song and this one isn't)

they shoulda just made her do a cover of "Colors of the Wind"
