Remove this ad I'm a bigger fan of Legacy than I am of Ryan, but honestly, Legacy tanked his second number. I don't think it's all audience manipulation that Legacy was voted out and Ryan stayed. I don't think Ryan's weeping would've gone far if that lousy NappyTabs routine hadn't KO'ed Legacy. Only Mollee's special ability to inspire loathing in everyone saved Ellenore from getting booted for that shitastic NT number, too.

I honestly believe that at least some of the Legacy pimping was orchestrated for a "shocking" boot. Plus, keeping someone who is unliked by many people generates more emotion and voting. In fact, as an unpopular opinion I'm sure, Ellenore was much worse than him in that routine, which in itself was poorly choreographed for this stage. Which isn't to say he deserved to stay over her or anyone. Just that the HH alone didn't do him in. Ryan doing well + tears definitely helped. Anyway, it's not like Legacy would have won but he sure had many more memorable routines/solos than Ryan. Possibly even Jakob - whose only routine I can remember is his jazz with Ellenore and his solo last week. To me, he was simply more fun to watch. I know it makes me like those tweens melting down on idf but I actually am a little sad he's gone.

I know they aren't popular here, but I started out not liking them and they grew on me. As did Legacy, but I was so unimpressed by him last night. I would have rather he stay and Russell go, but I'm not upset about it. I look forward to seeing Ashleigh and Ryan dance together.

Amen and thank you, Jesus. This is exactly true. He lacks real star quality and his dancing is way too internal. Ellenore helped him peek out a bit, but in other weeks he has been a pretty dancer with two looks: intense (which stands in for anger, passion, determination... all in one look!) and "graceful (which is the universal Jakob symbol for love, elegance, happiness, exhilaration, content). No matter what Adam says, beautiful technical dancers are almost never stars. In the professional routines I have seen, in fact, the awesome technical dancers like Jakob are usually relegated to the sidelines, while slightly lesser dancer with strong personality and capability for emotion are almost always soloists.
