Whether I like the woman or not, and I don't, I have to admit that she dominated the pseudo news this year. People who never watched the show, now knows
who she is. The thing is there is something off putting about her. She doesn't make herself that likable. I think the disclaimer to the Baba Walters
show is the 10 Most Fascinating People (Good or Bad). Although I consider Kate the Bad, I think Baba is drinking the Kool-Aid and thinks people actually look
up to her.

The thing is there is something off putting about her. She doesn't make herself that likable. What's off putting is her greed and sense of self-entitlement for giving birth to a litter. And have you ever seen her be nice to many people? Especially females? She treats everyone like dirt to a degree, but seems to treat women with more contempt. She's a real piece of work. |

I was watching a CNN type of show w/Babwa. She is just as delusional as Kate. She was raving about her and how she is a strong woman has these kids on her own.
She believes she will be a 'media star'. I had to turn the channel it was making me ill. Kate is not a star - she is a hideous, unfeeling twat.

A Maryland judge decided today that TLC has a strong enough case against Jon for breach of contract - so a preliminary injunction was put in place preventing him from making any appearances or doing any interviews without TLC's permission. TLC honcho Edward Sabin testified against Jon today, saying his recent actions - like hosting a pool party in Vegas, taking his girlfriend to France and talking to paps outside of his home - have been "embarrassing." Jon's contract with TLC is good through May. A rep for TLC tells us, "The Court has validated our view that Mr. Gosselin has a valid, binding contract and that he has breached it repeatedly … we look forward to the next phase of the litigation, which is to pursue our claim for damages resulting from Mr. Gosselin's numerous breaches." |

You can't get blood from a turnip, so my best guess is that there will be an offer for a trade-off down the line; i.e., let the kids resume being filmed
and we'll drop our claim for monetary damages.

Could be, but the possibility of blackmail claims will probably keep them from doing that, Jon will always be able to find some kind of lawyer to help
him...even if he is broke.
They may just use it keep his mouth shut in exchange for not filing for damages because he violated his contract. |

Kate isn't any better with her running to the interviews crying because her kids are devestated that the filming stopped (yeah right), how she doesn't
have enough money for milk (but has enough for all the designer clothes she wears) and how she has to struggle all alone with eight kids (and nannies, cooks,
gardener, bodyguard and 'friends' who help out). They both need to STFU already and GO AWAY. They both suck but Kate is WORSE.

I don't think the kids miss being filmed -- especially Mady. They missed the people in their lives that did things for them and were fun to be around.
Remember when poor Alex was trying to set up for their outdoor movie and the kids were crawling all over him? Who set up the tents for the backyard camping?
The kids were sobbing because the reality set in that they were going to have to spend more time with Kate w/o the buffer the production crew provided.
