Jaison at Ep7

Our assumption:
He's been ruled out because we assume his statements about quitting step over the line. But do they?
The edit gives Jaison two big speech scenes. They are at Ep7, the critical moment for the Foa Foa.

Jaison to Natalie and Mick, after Eric tells them how to vote:

"Here's how I feel right now. I feel like Eric is talking to me like I'm a f*cking child. We're screwed anyway! And, what I think we should do is tell him, 'Yeah sure, we'll vote the way you want us to vote and flush out the idol. And then we go get Eric."

Jaison's confessional inserted in his speech, "...I just kinda want to put the four votes on Eric and let the ball roll."

Jaison continues, "...But, I could leave this game easily, knowing that he went before me."

At TC:
Eric,

"Mick comes in and takes it on the chin and says, 'The numbers are what they are'.
Natalie doesn't want to step on anybody's toes.
And Jaison is just an enigma, because you see his intelligence; you see his physical prowess and his athleticism, but you don't really see it comin' together."

Jaison,

"Honestly, the personal attacks on me in which someone says I just can't put it together, they eat at me.

You know, for 28 years Ive been fighting to do things; to accomplish things. And I feel people have doubted me the entire way and I've had to push through roadblocks that I couldn't go around or under or over.

And so, I think it takes me back to those days. And I've tried to play this game hard, but not take it too seriously, but sometimes, you know, something just kicks in..."

This has Jaison making the critical decision to make the "bold move" as SEG likes to say. Yes, Natalie got all the credit at the next recap, but the edit gave a great deal of attention to Jaison's big moment by including the confessional in the middle of his Eric speech to Nat and Mick.

Eric's speech outlines the viewer's problem with Jaison. And Jaison's speech gives us an answer.

It is interesting to note that both Eric and Ben's boots were initiated by Jaison. Russell is the one bragging to us that he decides which and when players left. But, Russell is overridden both times Jaison decided to take someone out.

This looks like a very good edit, Edgically, in a turning point episode in the season.
