All the stuff I read about her made it seem like she was a huge fan of the show, and that was how she got cast in the first place. Especially since she doesn't live in LA. Yeah, it was a one-time twist. I think it's interesting, but you probably didn't like it because you know how much being elected leader and having the power sucks. :P

No, you got it: Booting the strongest Female in the Tribe. should make it interesting though... I just love the idea of RusSwan effing up Galu... again! Well, in the story, Laura was hardly the strongest tribe member. Recall that it was her arguing that helped to cause problems for the tribe during the puzzle portion of that first challenge. I know she wound up being awesome in the show, but I really didn't think she would be that good at challenges, so I don't think Russell S. really made a bad decision, because there was no real downside to booting Laura, other than losing a potential ally.
