Ugh @ the people that voted for Ashleigh. I bet it's the same people that voted for the Melissa after the cancercancercancer dance, robbing Janette of her
deserved win.

If there is any justice, the backlash at Ashleigh getting through to the finals without dancing (and the implication that she was the second highest female
vote getter) will cause her to finish last amongst the girls.
Nigel needs to clarify the rules and tighten up how injuries are handled in the future. You could fake an injury to get out of a bad routine/partner on forward. |

I agree. The fact that Ashleigh could go on (and Ryan could do his sob story, cutting Cat off mid-sentence), makes even more of a farce of this who. A s
Hanson, said, what's the point of having them train and actually dance if somebody who did not dance can go on? Blame Nigel for encouraging it, but blame
idiotic Amurruca for making it work. Blame the Mormons.

Cassidy666 wrote:You are missing the point. It's not that she chose not to dance, it is that she DIDN'T dance. So I can go to work and say, "pay me for being out yesterday, even though I have no sick days... It's not MY fault the doctor told me I was too sick to come!" A pro athlete could not say, "Let me progress to the finals, even though I missed the semi-finals, because the doctor told me it might kill me to compete." Hell... Why don't we give Oscars to people who had to pull out because another film's schedule went on too long and got in the way. It's not their fault, after all! |

The contestants DO read forums (unlike the contestants on Idol... well most of them). |

I have this little sneaking suspicion Kathryn WILL win. People have come around. Jakob, I think, is her only real competition unless something really crazy
happens on the finale. Ellenore, to me, coulld be a proverbial (not racist) dark horse, here. Ashleigh could be the light horse.

Actually, the crying made her stand out. For the first couple of weeks, Kathryn was "the crying girl". Then she became "the hot girl".
Contrast to Noelle, who was, "who is that?"
If Kathryn wins, she should thank the Daisy Dukes she wore in her first Broadway routine. Arooogah! cginspace wrote: Smiley!

I was wondering if it was another case of editing and/or directing, but, yeah, you bring up another possibility. Her previous video has biased me against
liking her as a person.

A Kathryn win would be the only thing to save this shitfest season. JMO.

She should also thank the human crane who supported her this week. if robots need thanks.

The tweens must have been in meltdown mode last night when Mollee got sent home.

Your supervisor evaluates you for the entire year and takes the absences into consideration along with other things. That's what voters were asked to do- evaluate her on the whole season, most likely, as someone said, because they let Noelle stay and they probably have it in the contract language that they get a chance if they are kept out due to injury. As for people saying future contestants can now fake an injury to stay in, what part of a doctor looks at the injury and decides if they can dance that night or not is going over your head? |

flybulldog wrote:Nigel managed to turn many of the tweens against Nathan. I wouldn't be surprised if that also happened with Mollee. Just a guess; it's hard to gauge according to message boards. The large tween power voting demographic for this show is why I was surprised and suspicious when old-looking, ballroom Ryan stayed over b-boy Legacy. As for injuries, doctors don't/can't know everything and can make mistakes. |

Of course doctors make mistakes, but there's a difference between a doctor making a mistake and a contestant faking an injury and a doctor not catching the
fake. I've had numerous sports-related injuries. They'd be pretty hard to fake.

Never heard of soft tissue damage? Besides, if you say you're hurt, they have to take it at face value. They can't use a Medical Tricorder to confirm.

It pisses me off that the injured girls got a reprieve this season, but heaven forbid Jessi have a heart condition. At least she danced during the results
show.

I suspect the difference was they didn't want a possible death to be connected to the show.

Wasn't Jessi just hospitalized for being dehydrated? And weren't Joshua and Twitch sent to the hospital for that too in the S4 finale rehearsals?
Anyways I was actually OK with Jessi being sent home, even if she was one of the better dancers (and her cha cha with Pasha in the results episode was amazing). I just wish they would have been consequent and done the same with Ashleigh and Noelle this season. |

No, she had a medical condition that she never disclosed to the producers, and I think it pissed them off and they got rid of her. I still love her parting
"speech" where she said that Pasha was the best part of the show for her.
