The natural surroundings provide an ample amount of fruit, so they pretty much get that naturally. The producers always makes sure there are fruit trees and
berry bushes in the area, and they give the castaway info on what kind of bugs are safe to eat.

Other than Shambo losing the snorkel, why are they not fishing? Never seen a Survivor w/o some kind of fishing. Weird.

They had corn in Africa, and in Guatemala I remember they were given a large amount of fruit.
