Damnit... should've stuck with picking Carolina last week, 'cause as it stands now that was the last week I'd have even thought of taking them. Picking a team playing a new starting QB just seemed far too risky, though.
I've had Tennessee penciled in for this week since October. Along with Baltimore, it looks like one of the two best 'locks' of the week.
After struggling with what I see in the remaining schedules for teams I really want to use, though... I'm not picking them this week.
At this point, the odds of the Steelers making the playoffs look dismal at best, so I need to use 'em during the regular season. The only other week I'd even remotely consider choosing them would be @ Miami in Week 17... and that would be a hell of a lot riskier pick than this one. I think that game will pretty-much be a coin flip, actually.
They've beaten the Browns in a dozen straight, and all but once in their last 19 meetings. The horrid wintry weather conditions for tonight's game should favor the experienced Big Ben... certainly not Quinn.
The Steelers are in desperation mode, to say the least, and know that they must win tonight to even retain a chance of making the playoffs. Screw it. Four game losing streak be damned - my fate shall be determined tonight.
