what was the "daring" move the Previews were hyping about? |

what a major letdown i was expecting Russel to at least toss the Idol into the fire, not just not do anything

That was the most underwhelming shit ever.

what a crock of shit, we should sue them for false advertising, why cant they just put on preview for next episode that "2 Contestants get Killed next
week in the wildest Immunity challenge yet", only to see all 7 of them practicing Yoga for an hour. Same thing to me

They tried to spin Carolina and Candace off as major blindsides too.

Reminds me of the Joe Schmo Show when they would often say (in jest)... "Coming up... the most shocking eviction ceremony ever!"

I can't believe they implied that there would be this shocking outcome yet it was the most likely people who ended up going home anyways!
THAT'S NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE!!! |

If there has been a single promo in the past, oh, 10 seasons that did NOT make it look as if you needed to postpone your own wedding to watch it because it was
going to be the BIGGEST SHOCKER EVER ZOMG ZOMG ZOMG ZOMG, I don't remember it. In fact, the
excitement quotient for the actual episode is usually inversely proportional to the promo hype.

^ True. Some of the best and most shocking episodes in Survivor history weren't even hyped at all.
And who the hell gets married on a Thursday? |

TequilaVaquero wrote: Okay dumbass, read verrrrrry carefully now. The promos suggested some "bold move" at TC. That is like Russhole throwing the idol in the fire, saying he doesn't need it. A bold move is NOT showing the idol, when everyone knew he had it anyway. Another bold move would be Russhole giving away the IN at TC ........ oh sorry, that would be contingent on Russhole actually, you know, winning an immunity challenge. But there's no need for Russhole to win ICs since he is so well looked after in the idol department by the friendly producers, right ?

Yeah, because Russell is the one who said it was a bold move. Don't blame Russell for the producers overhyping something.
"I can't believe that pussy Russell Swan didn't die. The preview made it look like he would die, not just be a pussy." Russell publicly showing he had the idol was a bold move. Has anyone else done it? |
