The only thing I can think about Natalie is that she is so hooked under Russell's spell that she really doesn't say anything negative about him and we
as viewers are supposed to like Natalie. Just a (even I can say it, terrible) thought.

I think Natalie should get an INV here. Her five sentences consisted of denying the lie spread around. More development on Russell than her.

She had the little skirmish with Russell. Not good, but still UTR1

Initial ratings.
AIGA Brett -- OTTP2 (everything about his edit was about how much everyone liked him and how much of a jury threat he was. Add in the IC win, the Laura interaction at TC, and I think it's pretty OTTP. There was nothing MOR about his edit.) Dave -- MOR2 Jaison -- MOR3 Mick -- CP3 Monica -- CPP4 Natalie -- INV1 (possible UTR1, but she didn't get any confessionals or any TCQ's in a 2-TC episode) Russell H. -- CPN5 Shambo -- MOR3 |

I hear she even got along with Ben. Nice pretty Christian girl from Arkansas. Not very articulate, no drama, minimal strategy. I can completely understand her edit sucking this bad, even if she wins. Tonight was no worse than Danni in the F7 Gary boot episode. |

The three UTR's in a row here are just as damning to her as Micks were to himExcept that Natalie is a boring girl. Also notice that tonight, as at the start, Natalie goes deeply UTR when Russell is the big bad bully. But Mick's UTRs were during the heroic underdog period of Foa Foa. |

The editors made Foa Foa look pretty bad this season. Sorry but true. They made Aitu look better. They actually gave sympathy to Monica and Brett. Laura's
stay strong to Brett was so positive. Just wonder why they set up the Foa Foa to look like bullies.

Shred, when there's a Pagong going on (which this episode was, doubled) there is inevitably a sense in the editing of sympathy for the lesser tribe getting
picked off, one by one. But the only true sympathetic edit was for Brent, er Breet, um... Monica's wasn't so much sympathetic as the fighter going
down with a fight. No violins for her, no sirree. The way she acted, she would have grabbed the Strad from your hand and whacked you upside the head with it.
Brett is the poor little puppy dog. He snarled some this episode, but that was about it. I Sooo want Jaison to win, but I'll applaud modestly when Mick does. To me, the big payoff this season - they've been foreshadowing it from ep 1 - is when Russell is voted off. Other than that, just a basic two-fer Pagong. Look - I bet a lot of the talk we heard (drama! Russell might go!) happens every frigging day out there, and since he got a few votes it was time to make him look "in danger." this was the first ep the whole season that made me think, Hey RH might win this. I believe, as Warrior et al. have noted, that this is one of the points of the show, to get people to think, Hey... about a lot of players. Poor Natalie. three uno's in a row. Shades of Darrah. |

Natalie - INV - That little 2 sentence spat with Russell is not enough to avoid INV this late in the game.
Monica - CPM4 - Classic mixed edit in my opinion. Could also be OTT, I'm pretty undecided right now whether to go CPM or OTTM. - Brett could arguably be OTTP, I have no qualms with either OTTP or MORP. - Everyone else's ratings are pretty straight forward in my opinion. Winner: Still Russell. I'd have Jaison as a clear cut #2, if not for his early pre-merge comments about quitting (in 2 different episodes). I feel very strongly that they would not have included those if he is the winner. Mick may still have a chance, but just barely.

Just a hypothesis: I think some people are voting for people who they think aren't really the best pick but are like 3rd or 4th so they'll show up on
the contenders chart as 2nd or 3rd so it doesn't look like a total blowout for 1-2 people.

No way was Natalie inv, she had the cleaning her undies scene and the small fight with Russell. Not a fight at all but whatever.

Something I haven't done in a while: post my potential votes
Brett - OTTP2 (astro, good point) Dave - MOR2 Jaison - CP3 Mick - CP3 Monica - OTTM/OTTN4 (She was just trying to save herself which is OTT I believe) Natalie - UTR/INV1 (I don't care) Russell - CPN5 (thought OTT briefly) Shambo - OTT3 (N at the beginning then no tone really) |
