There's no way Russell can win now |
Lead | |

If he goes to the final 3, very few on the jury will vote for him, especially since Monica will tell them he's already a multi-millionaire. And getting rid
of him is easy. Ya just need a few people to write his name down. If he plays the idol, you do it again next week to vote him out. If if doesn't play the
idol, he's gone right then. No way he's gonna win this thing. Natalie and Brett are looking better and better every week.

People will vote for him just for being the best player. ESPECIALLY if he's against some soft coattail rider like Jaison or Shambo.

As far as I'm concerned, neither one of them is looking any better off than before, particularly Brett. Based on his edit, there's no feasible way that
Brett wins (and virtually no way he cracks F3/F2). I would be stunned if he doesn't leave next week (unless he wins immunity).

That and Jaison is taller and blacker than Russell. I don't know how you couldn't vote for the blacker of the two.
I mean if a black person has been in the finals, a black person has won. (Sundra doesn't count, she's not real, nor all the way black) |

I think it will shape up as a mostly bitter jury. They are stupid, and I doubt they will vote for game-play, especially most of Galu.
That "millionaire" stuff will hurt him with these bozos. I expect votes from this mostly recruited cast to be based on like, need, and "worthiness" that has nothing to do with "outwit, outplay, outlast." |

Wolf Myth wrote:Russell can very realistically win. There are two ways to handle someone known to have idol: blindside or wait til it cannot be played. They chose to let him use it at F6 banking that they can get him out at F5 or F4. Hasn't been a vote where it made sense to try and blindside him so they chose the option which works. Brett - goal of everyone has to be get him out. He will win if he is at F3 TC. |

Shit, I'd say at this point Shambo may at least get one or two votes (Erik, John) if she were in the final three.
I don't think Russell would get a single one. |

To be honest... I would never vote for a multi-millionaire to win even if I knew in my heart they were the best player of the game. I just couldn't.

As a viewer, I can definitely vote for Russell. But as a jury member out there, with no access to confessionals et al, I may be swayed not to vote for him.

protip: telling people that you are rich is a horrible strategy. He deserves to lose for having told anybody about his business during the game at any point.

Simply having money alone wouldn't automatically make me not vote for them.
But if they are bragging about how they don't need the money and are just playing the game for kicks, and come F2/3 they are sitting next to someone I thought could really use the money or put it to good use, I'd have a hard time giving it to the guy who already has it. Telling people about that is a really stupid thing to do if you are dead set on winning. There's no reason to tell anyone unless you are looking for an ego stroke. He let his ego get the best of him. |

I'd vote for whoever played the game best. How does how much money they have affect anything?

I want the prize money to mean something to the winner.

They seemed to respect the fact that he has been playing a very good game. However, with that combination, I could see Natalie winning - Kelly/Luara/Monica would most definitely vote Nat. Brett would probably vote with them, giving Nat 4 votes. I could see Shambo getting 0 votes. Actually no matter the combination, I can't see Shambo getting ANY votes no matter what she does. Sure Erik & John might have been aligned with her, but they also realize she is bat-shit crazy and she hasn't really done anything strategic, and is just basing everything off emotion. She's a train wreck in slow motion. Mick/Jaison... up in the air. I could see them swinging to vote Nat OR Russell. |

Telling people he made his money in petroleum was pretty stupid too for that matter. Nobody has much love for the oil companies these days.
It would be a different story if he made millions for discovering the cure for cancer or something else people might respect more. |

He told mick and natalie. Dont think he was planning on the good doctor blabbing about being rich like he did to jaison.
Id giv my vote to most deserving. If you need the money that badly you wouldnt be taking off work for a couple of months to play a game. |

It was a stupid move for Russhole to tell people what he does for a living. There's no excusing that.
