How in the world is this preemie going to get the attention a preemie needs from its parents. I feel soooo bad for the baby.......Not
for Jim Bob and his uterus gone bad wife cause they were really asking for a special child and we all knew it was bound to happen sooner or later.

Does this baby even stand a chance? A friend of mine had a preemie at 30 weeks and it was just too fragile to survive. A 25 week old baby just seems far too
premature to make it. Surely they have to stop getting pregnant after this. Does God have to just make her Uterus fall out at Walmart one day for them to take
a hint?

I wonder if this will finally be the wake up call they desperately need.
I want to believe they're smart enough to realize this is a sign that its okay to stop and God will be fine with them caring for the 19 children they already have but somehow I don't think they are. Hopefully she lives. |

This baby will most likely need over $1million in NICU care, and will be in the hospital for several months? Will TLC pay for this, or will JimBob finally suck
off the government teat and put little Josie on Medicaid? Christ knows THEY are not going to pay the bill. i hope this serves as the wakeup call they
desperately needed. That child will need medical care all her life....Pony Up, TLC....
JimBob will most likely get a million dollar bill and try to bargain down to $2000.00. |

Surely they have some form of health insurance. Just because they are self-employed doesn't mean that hey aren't in some sort of plan. They have a long
road ahead though and hopefully this will slow them down for #20, as long as it's God's will and gift. Michelle could have serious health problems if
they go at it again. Surely the dr might be advising them to consider being done. I can't imagine jeopardizing her health over more kids. It certainly
wouldn't be fair to the older girls. I'm sure they aren't as encourage to date as Josh was as they are needed to care for all the little ones.

They were all on medicaid before TLC and may still be. You qualify for services easily when you have 18 dependents. And private health insurance for that
family would probably cost 15 grand a month.
Lets hope she doesn't realize that she can have babies faster if she only half bakes them. She could have three a year if she has them early and if she doesn't breastfeed this one she could be pregnant again before this baby comes out of the hospital. |

No. Simply put these kinds of people think anything that happens is God's will and therefore its good.
If this baby dies or lives and has serious medical problems it will be fine in their minds because God meant for it to happen and there's a reason for it. If Michelle continues to have babies and dies in childbirth or due to complications it will be because God has a plan for her and needs her in heaven or some bullshit. They have all these kids b/c they don't want to interfere with God's will. Idiots. |

I actually think the only child the parents seem to take full responsibility for is the newest member of the brood at any given time. Its a problem when you
have so many kids that your other kids have to take care of your other kids full time. You chose to have the children not them. Babysitting and helping out is
one thing but its obvious the kids (read: the one's with vaginas) do a lot more than that in terms of childcare.

this is an absolutely DISGUSTING exploitive new trend. The sheer irresponsible behavior of the parents being rewarded is enough to vomit. But then if you had
asked a woman several hundred years ago who was having her umpteenth pregnancy where the baby's sire had syphillis (sp?) a family history of alcoholism and
drug addiction, throw into that insanity, feeble mindedness and just about every genetic disorder you can name with her other children then who would ever
predict that this new child would live on to be Mozart? Swear to god it's true. He was the only semi sane one out of what, a dozen kids? It's still
wrong. And disgusting. The odds of having another Mozart are pretty slim.
