Ok, as devastated as I was to see the only remaining form of entertainment voted out while fucking Shambo gloated, that tribal council wasn't bad. Just
think about how good of an episode it could have been had both Shambo and Russell left.

Okay, I admit Monica was not a mastermind; but I'm amazed at the polarizing effect she has. I'm a gay man and I
think she's cute and relatively likable, with the limited information we have. She says in interviews that she didn't play full tilt so that people would think she was weak and underestimate her. Obviously it worked, because like many have stated earlier, she was almost the first target of the Galu tribe. I am not arguing that she was in the driver's seat at any point. Because of the editing, we never got to see what she did pre-merge. She was viewed as a follower of Laura and little else. I think because Shambo & Russell, the two stand-out personalities of this season, did not like her, she was immediately viewed as an annoying coat-tail riding inevitable jury member. That's probably true. However, if she had played hardcore from day one, the Galu boys may have viewed her as a Marissa type and voted her out ASAP. It's hard to say. It's just fascinating to me that she would inspire hatred because if anything, you like her because she was cute, and (at the last minute) sassy, or inspire apathy, because she did little to contribute to the overall storyline. |

ugh, I hate to sound EDGIC here, but people are edited in the way that directly affects the outcome of the show. Fact is, everything you need to know about
Dave, Brett and Monica, you'll learn at the reunion when Jeff either asks them one question and cuts them off, or totally ignores them completely.
