RVS ... forgive me if I misread what you said, because it's late and I'm studying, so I just skimmed your post, but if you're arguing Dave is biased and that he believes Laura about the beach scene because he's her friend ... well, you could also be saying the beach scene was legit because you hate her. He's a part of the cast, and I think we all suspected that scene was manipulated. It's even backed up by Sham's confessional...she mentioned nothing of Laura's insensitivity, only that she wanted to puke on Laura's face for being fake. Fake means there had to be some appearance of sympathy, not insensitivity. That's just being a bitch.

I'll agree with this. My dislike for Laura grew over the season. At the time that beach scene happened I was just 'meh' about her, but definitely leaning toward not caring about her.
The beach scene and her blog asking for the favorite juror vote cemented my dislike for her.

I disagree. I think that not only did Laura come across as insensitive, she also came across as fake. She didn't seem to be really listening to Shambo. She was more interested in getting some sun. She also kept trying to change the subject a few times. I think that is what Shambo was talking abut as being fake.
When someone is having an emotional moment I think that you just sit there and let him/her talk it out. Offer a few words of sympathy, ask some questions, but don't talk about getting more sun or blatantly state that you need to talk about a lighter subject.
Sometimes, a person just needs to talk. It's not that hard to take the time and listen.

Yeah sending Shambo to FF TWICE in a row; especially after she helped then win the challenge was putting her in her place alright. it was part of the reason she immediately flipped to the FF 4.

Just listened to the first part of this interview. What a condescending, lying, full of shit asshole. Calling her mentally ill and delusional. He needs to take a long hard look in the mirror when he talks about being delusional.

Personally, I think he isn't happy with the editing of how he talked to and looked down on Shambo. This interview makes me like him even less.

Completely blows away his words about owing Shambo an apology (he said it during one of the Ponderosa videos).

I completely agree with you. I can't see any other way to take that scene at the beach. And you're right; he doesn't know jack-shit about it because he was NOT there.
Only Laura and Shambo know (well the cameramen too :) ). I hope that the full scene is included if a DVD is ever released of this season.

To elaborate on my earlier post ; yeah our perceptions of a person do tend to color how we view things that he/she says or does, In Dave's case though, it seems that more people starting disliking him after reading his revisionist and delusional interviews.

I'm probably biased because I like Shambo too. His remarks about her were ugly and mean. She must have really let him have it after she was voted off; or more than likely, after viewing the aired episodes and seeing what he was saying about her behind her back.
