EVERYONE complains about the conditions. Blame the editors for putting it on screen. It's not Jasion's fault that it's in Burnett's contract to give someone the role of the lazy black guy every season. Quitters never win. Winners never quit. Jaison never quit. If he doesn't win, then this season will be worse than Palau, Cook Islands, and Fiji combined.

But they haven't shown much of anything on this season that should merit him winning above anyone else. What do you think he's done so far that merits him as the only acceptable choice? I agree on one point that continues to irritate me. Editing does manage to sneak in stuff that seems to confirm negative stereotypes about groups of people. But it's not just the Black contestants to which this applies.

Brett would probably be more likable than him if he was shown, but he hasn't been. There are no other tolerable people left.

But, this is the first season that I have had pretty much no emotional investment in any of the players, and could really care less who wins at this point. But cognitively (so far) I think it has been Russell's game to lose, and he's doing just that right now. There were a few episodes post merge that were really entertaining, thanks to Russell.

I think Jaison is getting more of a raw deal from sucksters than MB...which is tough to do given that MB didn't start providing African American men with somewhat positive edits till season 15.
