Is it safe to assume that the speculation of S22 being Survivor: Second Chance is... just that, speculation?
Some new idea is raped to death (mostly by wishlists) in this board every 2 days, its hard to keep up with everything. |

At this point anything beyond Survivor 20 is speculation. It has been rumored that Probst and Burnett want to have a Second Chance season, so its assumed that
it will happen in the near future. I wouldnt be surprised to see it on Survivor 22 or 23.

If they now have to have back to back seasons in the same location there is no way they won't end up doing a second chance season unless they have any
creative ideas for gimmick seasons that don't involve returning players.

I dunno... they have to do SOMETHING special for s22 if they plan to reuse the location. They can't do another all-stars since they JUST did one. It's
either Second Chance, Celebrity (please god no) or another made up location like Exile Island (season 12).
That coupled with Probst pushing very hard for a second chance season makes it the only lead we have right now. |

yah i agree with Mypoody2! It could be a reuse of location but changing name like Panama and Micronesia (flimed in Palau, on the same beach used for tribes in
Palau). But this only means that they will bring in more twist!

Only when a valued, overhyped character (same tier as coach/shambo/russhole) goes premerge would they ever have a second chance season. They'd probably
bring him/her back and center the entire second chance season around him/her.

well Jeff Probst has wanted a Second Chance Survivor season for years however everytime he mentions one to producers especially Spillman they immediately turn the idea down.i think the idea of them doing one would be redemption for the trainwreck that Season 20 is going to turn out to be because thats what it will be a trainwreck of a season.yes people instead of bringing back people who deserve to be on there again theyre bringing back people who have been on there not once not twice but some even for a third time.people like Stephenie Rupert and others who have been on before.if they somehow decide to do a Second Chance Season the season would not suck despite what some people might think.it would be a interesting season if they brought back the people who deserve to be back.people like Ashley who wasnt on there long enough to prove how strong of a competitor she really is.Mike Skupin who fell in the fire he never got a chance to finish the game.Wanda Shirk who never even got to participate in any of the challenges if theres anyone who deserves another chance its those people and many others. |

People like Mike and Wanda get a proper chance, which would be nice to see. I like the idea of a second chance, when they did All stars the first time, I
always wondered when they'd do one with pre-merge people.
I hope its is pre-merge only, I dont want anyone any further than that, maybe a merged player who just missed the jury, could just get in and it would be alright, but any higher, is an all stars. |

I bet it will be either a Second Chance or something like an All-Stars Second Chance. Id love to see a second chance with people like Mike Skupin, Hunter
Ellis, Silas Gaither, Dolly Neelh, Gina Crews and Kimmi Kappenberg.

If anything just have people that made the F4 that were misunderstood...thats the only way this would make sense. Cassandra, Becky, Susan, Dreamz, etc... |
