Remove this ad Even though Michael was the one I least wanted to win this season, I would absolutely dine in his restaurant if given the chance, as well as the other 3 of the top 4 this season. Well, I have already eaten at 10 Arts in Philly where Jen runs things and everything was amazing and I will definitely go back especially after seeing Jen on the show. Maryland is really close, so I definitely want to get down to Bryan's restaurant. The only winners I have ZERO interest in ever trying their food are Ilan & Hosea. Nothing about either of their runs on this show interested me in the slightest. Worst and most undeserving winners ever.

And I wouldn't eat in his restaurant if he paid me to. He never yelled at the judges. Trust me, a lot of chefs are like Michael. They are complete Hell to work with, dickwads to everyone around them... and charming as all get-out with the guests. Strange, indeed, but I have seen it on many occassions, and have worked for such chefs.

Bacon in a dessert? C'mon. I get the fact that you like pork, but trying to please the judges with bacon is getting a little tiresome. Please next season they should not allow any bacon to be served.

Ted Allen, in particular, is too much of a sucker for the stuff: "Oh! Bacon Ice Cream? YUM! Bacon Cheesecake? Delish! Bacon Bundt Cake? FAB!"

He whined afterward about how he deserved to win more than whomever did, but in front of the judges, he took it like he was supposed to take it. He wasn't like Kenley or Santino who snapped at the judges when their garments didn't go over well...

Ilan? wtf - there were some much better chefs- he's a one trick pony, wtf. Marcel, hot guy I can't think of your name, dude that got kicked off.. Ilam wah wah wah. Josea also- PUHLEASE if that guy is a better chef than the lesbian oppurtunist. I also wasn't rooting for Michael but I'm still all good with him winning. He's a badass as were his final four competitors. CRAZY, this season had the most talent thus far- in fact, I'd put the F4 of this season up against any other season winner. WHAT NOW BITCHES. Just a thought- Project Runway- WORST talent season ever, Top Chef- BEST talent season ever. NY is calling you back Tim Gunn.. bravo bitches

One of the blogs on Bravo, and I can't remember which one, explained this a bit. Kevin was doing a southern comfort meal, or something like that. The dessert fit in with that theme, and apparently was presented as a rif on Elvis' famous bacon, peanut butter, and banana sandwiches, which Bravo didn't show. I think I would have gone with a pecan pie or southern peach desert myself.

I actually thought that sounded pretty good. The combination of salty and sweet is excellent. Sounded way better than the bacon ice cream somebody did a while back!

(btw, this site http://thisiswhyyourefat.com/ was brought to my attention by a cardiologist I work with.. disgusting) Saw the finale, a bit surprised that Michael won over Brian, but glad he did. Sad that Jen burned out towards the end. They did end up giving her a sympathetic edit at least.

I first saw a "display" for chocolate covered bacon at The Simpsons Ride in Universal Studios.. I thought it was REALLY funny and gross... and NOT real. 2 days later, I found out there was a place in Costa Mesa that sold chocolate covered bacon.... (amd I am kinda curious to try it now :))
