The new show is just a reversal of all the same old crap from her old show. Only whereas she used to say, "Use bagged lettuce to save time on
salads," now she says, "Save money by washing and chopping greens yourself rather than buying the bagged lettuce."
It's total bullshit. Which is, of course, exactly what we expect from her |

OMG....on the site Nightcrawler posted there's a YT of a radio interview with Alton - he says drunk Aunt Sandy wanted to show him her scar from a mole
removal on her chest! OK, he doesn't say she was drunk, but I think we can assume....

I caught her this afternoon and she had some guy with her (Jeff?). They were telling about a buffet they went to once and got all giddy when they announced
the menu said "all you can drink $12"!
She made absolutely no attempt to hide and in fact seemed to embrace her lushness. Admission is the first step, Sandy! |

I don't feel like reading through the whole thread, but has anyone ever seen Aunt Sandy make this
monstrosity?:
Forming vanilla ice cream into a baked potato certainly sounds yummalicious to me. Especially when you put artifical lemon frosting, cocoa powder (probably Nesquick), dyed pistachios (hint hint Sandy- pistachios are already green), and whipped cream (a.k.a. "the fancy spray stuff") on top. Aunt Sandy sure knows how to please |

Frozen lemon frosting on vanilla ice cream doesn't sound all that good to me. Sorry, but if I have to have vanilla ice cream for dessert, I want warm
chocolate fudge on top. A frozen baked potato may look cute, but doesn't sound like it tastes very good. Sandra, just make me a cocktail and call it a day.

Aunt Sandy's been boozing up the folks over at HGTV this holiday season.
She has a special airing where she helps the family of this one teenage cancer survivor. She decorates their house for the festivities (their christmas tree looked like a safety hazard after Aunt Sandy was done with it) and even taught them all how to cook a couple of easy meals. Ain't Aunt Sandy just swell? |

Enjoy:
Semi-Ho: The YouTube Collection Here new show is bad, but lacks the camp factor that Semi-Homemade has. Still, it's put together with spit and tissue, as the portions are ridiculously small, the price points are off, and it is filled with nonsensical factoids that she blathers to fill time and space. And she looks like shit too, if that helps. |

The daffodil cake monstrosity eppy just ended (I love that one...)
"I always make 2 desserts, so the kids have a choice, but I serve them the fruit dessert first, so they don't go right for the 'naughty'
dessert."
I also love that it's one of the eppys where she calls herself "Aunt Sandy", as in, "..and then, it's cocktail time for Aunt Sandy!" |

^I love how she basically bought pre-made cakes, cupcakes and cookies, slathered them all in a gallon of frosting, and then formed them together into a
sculpture and tried to pass it off as "semi-homemade". That reminds me of the time she made her "Ocean Breeze" cocktail, which consisted of
the following: Hypnotiq + ice

I haven't had the chance to watch the new "budget" show yet, but I know she used to advise home cooks to buy all their produce pre-packaged,
pre-washed and pre-chopped, which is expensive. Has the lazy bitch learned to chop her own shit, or has she
just given up on using fresh produce altogether?

SmashItWithAHamma wrote:I don't think she ever even intimates that she added frosting to the cakes, as though she bought them looking like that. Which I've never seen, mind you. And she sayd to get cakes with no piping, and I never see that, either. |

Kenscookie wrote: I know, right? I haven't really watched enough of "Money-Saving Meals" to know what she does for this. I just scanned a few quick videos on the Food Network site, but they're all "Round 2 Recipes", where she puts together meals using the leftovers from the stuff she made on the shows already. |

her new show is really toned down. she wears less make-up. the kitchen is boring. like the show's trying to be legitimate or something.
