* "Big Bang Theory" hit a crazy series high and solidified its status as TV's top scripted series. Blame Fox, which pre-empted "House" and "Lie To Me" with a much-lower-rated special starring "American Idol" vet Carrie Underwood, and ABC, which has momentarily replaced megahit "Dancing With The Stars" with plummeting new reality series "Find My Family."

* "Two and a Half Men" benefited as well, scoring its best rating of the season. "Bang" and "Two" were the highest-rated scripted shows of last seven days, beating even an usually strong showing from Sunday's "Desperate Housewives."

* TNT's "Men of a Certain Age" enjoyed the year's biggest cable series launch in 18-49, and the second-biggest launch in total viewers (with 5.4 million, just short of "Royal Pains'" 5.6)

* "Leno" for the second week in a row came in sixth place at 10 p.m., this time behind ESPN's "Monday Night Football," CBS' "CSI Miami," ABC's "Castle," USA's "WWE Raw" and TNT's "Certain Age."

* Would it not be cheaper (and probably better for Conan, Fallon and the late news) for NBC to just run repeats of "SVU" at 10 p.m. instead of "Leno"?

Andre Braugher was pretty good because I didn't like him much until the last minute of so of the show.

I still hate Raymond. He should be permanently banned from television.

I love Andre Braugher, but detest Ray Romano. I have this on my DVR, but haven't been able to bring myself to watch it yet.

God dammit, I didn't want to like this show, but I think it's very well done, and now I'm hooked. Maybe one of the most poignant shows other than Friday Night Lights that I've seen. And it can be very funny too. Maybe amusing is a better word for the humor.

I thought I'd hate watching RR try to act, but I give him credit for letting sad & weird moments just happen all over his face. Andre B is heart-breaking already - LOVE the story-line with the father.

This show has its own odd pace, but I'm finding it very engaging, and looking forward to next week's epi.

This show has it's moments, I dont enjoy the Scott Bakula storyline as much as the other two but overall a pretty good show that I will keep watching.

I'm really enjoying this show. I am married to a man of a certain age who won't admit he's of that certain age. He gasped in horror when Ray's character said he was 47 (his age) and was relieved to find out he was really 48. He completely missed the irony. My husband obviously isn't pushing 50. He's only 47 after all.

So I like to watch it and see my husband react to things he thinks he doesn't do all the time.

My wife and I enjoy the storyline, buy they need do stay clear of the stinky pussy talk...that doesn't enhance the show one bit

Found this by accident tonight--it was on after a House rerun that I'd already seen, but that I liked and wanted to watch again (while spending hours trimming the tree). Have never watched "Everybody Loves Raymond" or whatever Star Trek show Scott Bakula was in (though I've loved Star Trek since the '80s--I can't help it that I was born too late!), and liked Andre Braugher from House. This is a charming show, and I will give it another go next week (or whenever it is next on).

Tonight's episode just broke my heart. When Andre took off his shirt with the man gut and tittles to match I teared up. That is the reality of the over 40 something man. I cannot believe that Ray Romano is involved with anything that captures the truth behind the over 40 man with "issues" This show is right on the money

I'm really enjoying this show, too.

It's a nice change from the reality TV we get on the major networks and the cookie-cutter cop/spy/conman schlock we get on cable channels. I'm not big Ray Romano fan, but I think he plays a sad sack really well.

I have all of the episodes of this dvr'd but I just haven't sat down to watch. I really hate Ray Romano and don't know if I can take him. Should I bother? I just don't know...
