Posts: 3256 (12/12/09 09:08 AM) Registered user Reply Quote More Recent Posts	Watched through "The Other 48 Days" and "Collision" last night from Season 2 and the ending scene where Bernard & Rose and Jin & Sun are reunited still gets me. sniff Such an amazing scene. I'm loving seeing Mr. Eko again, too. I was really bummed when he was killed off. He was my favorite Taily, by far. Edited due to my shame for spelling Mr. Eko's name as Echo. I was much more upset when they killed off Ana Lu L:u though I understood it from a story perspective. And of course it goes without saying that Libby was gone way too soon.

And of course it goes without saying that Libby was gone way too soon. me too. am I deluding myself in hoping they address Libby's story this season even one quick scene?? is it true they wanted too last season but the actress held out? or is that just rumors? i know they were supossed to in s3 and then 4 again so maybe she got tired of being jerked around?

I thought Eko was interesting for awhile, but by the time Smokey busted his ass I didn't care. I was also more upset about Ana Lucia being killed off, even moreso than Libby. I liked Libby but really wasn't into the whole Hurley/Libby love stuff. I wouldn't mind seeing her again, but I can live without knowing why she was institionalized.. or why she gave Desmond her boat. I think we're supposed to assume Widmore put her up to that.

I'm curious where the writers would have taken his character had he not wanted off the show... The most interesting thing from the episode that I had forgotten was when Locke and Eko were talking about the monster and Locke said, "I saw a very bright light - it was beautiful." and Eko ominously replies, "That is not what I saw." Makes me wonder again exactly what Locke saw back in S1...

I was not sorry to see Ana shot and killed and felt it was bound to happen, with Karma and all that stuff. She killed so many people and she needed to be put down. She really was like a rabid dog. Libby's death did piss me off, mostly because she didn't get a decent flashback story before or after her death. I felt cheated.

Yeah, she was a bitch, there wasn't anyone else willing to be a leader. Libby's death did piss me off, mostly because she didn't get a decent flashback story before or after her death. I felt cheated. I agree totally Pinot. Libby's story definitely left me wanting to know more.

Posts: 2300 (12/13/09 05:51 PM) Registered user Reply Quote More Recent Posts	Interestingly enough, after Damon and Carlton said that we would not get the rest of Libby's backstory during last year's off-season, Damon made a comment a few months where he was at least somewhat optimistic at the prospect of Cynthia Watros returning for S6. Now it was probably just lip service to pump up even more excitement for the final season, and it was by no means a definitve claim... I don't even remember where he said it (Comic-Con I think), but it holds a glimmer of hope out. I have a relatively short list of unsolved mysteries that bother me compared to others... but the Libby ordeal is def one of them
