Are big businesses hysterical? No. It's all about the bottom-line. They're spending hundreds of millions on marketing and also on government.
They're spending hundreds of millions to convince society that 1) science is a religion, 2) moving the scientific debate from how quickly and deeply will
the environmental impact be to whether there will be any impact whatsoever, and 3) creating a network that builds-up outliers and misinformation and
marginalizes major science institutions to leave the populace as unintelligent and uninformed on the matter as possible.

How many carbon offsets would you like to buy UC? You need to minimize your carbo footprint.
If you don't buy carbon offets, the world will explode! |

Are scientists biased to only hypothesize about negative effects? Nobody is going to fund research that proves everything is okeydokey. Armageddon sells. |

Isn't water vapor a pollutant? It has a much larger greenhouse effect than carbon2O. In it's liquid form H2O can cause drowning!

What's really funny is that UC thinks he won the debate.

UrbanSprawl wrote:Air pollution is quite QUITE different from climate change, whether to cooler or warmer temperatures. You're confusing "weather" with "climate." And since the rate at which climate change occurs is over such a long period of time, the Al Gorebots had to manufacture, distort, hide and generally present fraudulent data to support their hysterical claims for catastrophic climate change due to man's activities. They're wrong about climate change. Did you want them to be right? |

And that's why the reveal of the fraudulent data is only the start, not the end, of the process of undoing the damage done by the giant scam that is Catastrophic Man-Made Climate Change. Just because we all know now that the sheeple were so easily fooled into believing the claptrap doesn't mean the battle is over. Now everyone needs to comprehend the essential driving-force that prompted government to put the pressure on the scientists to come up with data "any way they can" in the first place. edirted to clarify

Oh my gosh! The sun melts glaciers? Who woulda thunk it?
But isn't the science settled on this? Don't we already know everything there is to know about the complex climate of our planet and how it changes over eons? |
