I'd rather watch a better show in its place is what I'm saying. Start from scratch.

There is nothing to really equate it to....From Birth I have known that if I am in on a saturday night I am watching SNL and if I am not I can watch it sunday
on tape/tivo/dvr....
It WAS a funny show and keeps us watching because of that fact. Every week you hope you see the next Wayne's World get born or the start of a new "The Cheerleaders" or 'Mary Catherine Gallagher" or something...its like people in a bad relationship. They stay because they remember the good times and how when they are good, they are really good. |

Like some other people said, he knew his lines (ie. didn't constantly look at the telepromter or whatever they use) and he threw himself into it and didn't hold back. I liked. Lautner's fans (read: the gays) seem to be under the impression that because we're calling out his episode as one of the worst yet that we're putting the blame on him. He was fine. If Tom Hanks had hosted the episode, it would still be one of the worst yet. That was how boring the sketches were. If January Jones had hosted the episode, a glowing spiral would have appeared above 30 Rock and the entire eastern seaboard would have been sucked into a black hole. What I think happened was that the writers never came back from the strike, so Lorne got the manatees that write Family Guy jokes and constructs sketches from the balls they don't use. |

I've never seen the Gilly sketches before, so when I saw the Christmas shit I almost slit my wrists. What's the point of that character?

I love Kristen Wiig, but hate Gilly! And I hate the character even more since the teacher is always played by Will Forte!
GOD DAMN HIM!!! |

The Gilly sketches on the Christmas special were dumb, pointless, and unfunny. However, the Shwetty balls sketch NEVER STOPS BEING FUNNY!

Gilly hate aside, ALL of the Christmas sketches on last night have been shown so many times over the years that they are no longer funny in any way.
Once you've seen a 'classic' skit more than 10 times it loses all humor and just becomes tedious... even Shwetty Balls.

I liked seeing Shwetty Balls again... And I liked seeing Alec Baldwin mess up the Always Be Cobbling line again too.
