My guess is that there's a reward challenge, and that Mick, Natalie and Brett all go on the reward, explaining the scene of them bonding. It's probably
an overnight reward if we see Russell openly speaking to Jaison at night in the shelter saying 'We have to blindside everybody.' and Shambo's known
to sleep in her own shelter, so it makes sense that Mick/Natalie/Brett are somewhere and Russell/Jaison/Shambo are somewhere else.
Either a 3 vs 3 team challenge (meaning no individual reward challenges this season), or someone wins and brings 2 people. And TDT already spoiled the IC winner based on caps from the preview. |

If it's a combined challenge then Brett won both reward and immunity. |

I wonder what Natalie is carrying. .. and why is SHE carrying it and not one of the musclemen?

yea i don't think she will take the spear on reward, still there is those 3 hang out an russ an jaison alone at night in the shelter, ether nat bret an
mick go or shambo has a solo trip.

One of today's promos featured the RC. We know it's the RC because the teams are divided by purple bandanas and yellow bandanas
Mick, Brett, Natalie = purple Russell, Shambo, Jaison = yellow Looks like each team has coconuts that are held aloft by a series of criss-crossed ropes? They take turns pulling out a rope hoping that as few coconuts as possible fall?

Interesting... Do they want a few to fall, or are they trying to get them to fall in a certain way? Like, to fill up their own "chute" before the
other team's. That is, is there one coconut net apparatus they are both pulling strings out of, or does each team have one?
Or, Mick has rather a loop of twine in his close up. Is he pulling a string out, or weaving one in? That is, could it be one of those challenges where you have x minutes to construct a maze/barrier/net, which the other team will then have to undo? ETA Oh, and interesting that they used the helicopter for beach shot. Usually that is for something mountaintop dramatic. Are we sure Russ and Jaison are in the Aiga shelter? I haven't seen the vidcaps, but from the video, I had the impression of a tent, not their cobbled together hut.

Wow, so we have an entire season without individual RC (not counting the auction). I don't think I like that. No, not one bit.

Judging by Nats expression in the close-up I think the coconuts are supposed to stay on top as long as possible. Perhaps they take turns pulling strings out
and when ever a coconut falls it is counted. The winner is the team with the fewest coconuts.
I think Nat, Mick and Brett lose. Why would they be walking on a beach carrying a spear if they won? |

This game appears to be a variation of "Jenga" or "Kerplunk".
Where you pull out a block or a stick in hopes the tower (Jenga) or the marbles (Kerplunk) don't fall down. And if the tower falls, you lose Jenga. If you get the most marbles, you lose in Kerplunk. So, I'm guessing that you want to have the least amount of coconuts at the end of the game. |
