Wrap them but put other peoples names on them. Instead of Kid A, put Grandma. Then on Christmas add the real tags. They'll think heir presents are stored
somewhere else to keep them from snooping.

How old are the kids? Can't you just tell them there's no Santa Claus and put em under the tree already?

It's great having older kids now - it's just not an issue. Presents are wrapped and under the tree as soon as they come in the house. Do they look? I
doubt it.

Voo's idea is indeed a good one. But I would need some kind of code for sure or I'd fuck that all up in a heartbeat.

If they are that young, hide the presents behind the couch. Surely they can't move it.

Hide 'em under the kids' beds. They'd never think to look there.

My parents hide them at my grandma's house.

My sil had to do that a few years ago when they moved from West Point to California. The week before Christmas.

moving between christmas and new years is almost as bad, especially when you're hauling all your stuff and following a massive storm from Montana down to
Houston - it snowed in Dallas that year and definitely froze pipes in Houston

What you would want to do is use a different wrapping paper for each person, then on Christmas ignore the fake labels and distribute gifts by the gift wrap
design. My mother did this.

Why would you want to find out what you are getting before Christmas? Half the fun was shaking the boxes and guessing. But it would have ruined it if you
peeked or opened them early. And my parents would have just taken the gifts back if they thought we had peeked.
Guppie - can't you make the top shelf in your bedroom closet off limits to the kids? We weren't allowed near my parents room after Thanksgiving. |

How about you do it the old fashioned way and put them under the tree and have the kids wait until christmas to open them? My Mom had to just warn us that if
we touched them we were dead and that did the trick with the presents not being opened.

I rarely had anything worth opening on Christmas, let alone beforehand. Seriously, who gets excited over a bike with no brakes, scratchy wool dresses, and the
dreaded orange in their stocking?
