Eliza, didn't you vote for Chris who had a much better social game than Twila, who some could argue had a better strategic game?

Monica is more Parveliza, while Natalie is an Amber\Amanda. Besdies, Russell says he'd have teamed with Monica if they were on the same tribe. |

I'm glad I'm not the only one happy to see Natalie win due to Russell having an absolutely horrid social game and having to depend on THREE HII's
to get to the end.

Russ took the cockiness and arrogance to another level. It's one thing to act cocky around camp and the remaining players, but to bring it to tribal
council and flaunt the hidden immunity idol and your arrogance in front of the jury was ridiculous.

Umm just because Russell played harder strategically doesn't mean he played better. Natalie said it at FTC.. had she played like Russell, she would've
not made it to the F3, so she stuck to her gameplan of aligning with Russell and making real relationships along the way.
The great thing about Survivor, as Eliza should know, is that no single style of gameplay is better than any others.. You can trump physical players with strategy (eg. the girls taking out Erik in S16), take out strategic players with physicality (Jenna taking out Rob in S6) or in this case, beating a strategic player with social skills. Natalie was the master of her domain, hence, her victory.. maybe Eliza doesn't value the social aspect of the game as an important factor. |

Eliza, let me ask you a serious question. I read your recent twitter updates where you were enraged over the jury and their decision. You said to vote for the
best player and not emotionally. Now, let's rewind to your Vanuatu jury speech where you demanded Twila make an apology to you. You seemed pretty angry
with her and shouted at her. When she refused to give you an apology, you still seemed angered. (Now, we know your thing was obviously edited because of
timing, but we got the jist of it). How can you say that the S19 jury was bitter when you were too? Twila was the person who gave Chris a chance to get
further. Twila was the one who gave Chris the opening, and Twila convinced Chris to get rid of you. Im not trying to bash you, but it seems youre being a
hypocrite when it comes to Russell v. Natalie. Natalie played a better social game than Russell. A "smart" player thinks about a possible bitter jury
in the end.

Uh....to be quite honest, Chris WAS the best player in Vanuatu, so you can't use Eliza voting for him as an example, really.

Eliza, I really like you, but....
You said yourself in your vote for Chris "I'm voting for you because I like you better". Why are the jury idiots for doing the same? |

Gotta get to work but I love this discussion, keep it coming! And the insults on my game! Love it! Haven't heard this stuff in ages! :)

Hey Eliza what did you think of the outcome of Samoa?
Did you think Russell was extremely bitter at the reunion? And you were great in Vanuatu and Micronesia. Best Vanuatu moments - the stare you gave Chris after being voted off and your jury speech Best Micronesia moments - 'They are filling her head with lies' and the reference to Amandas dough eyes at FTC. |

Eliza, I know you're just judging it from a fan's point of view but I figured you would understand it more than the rest of us having been through the
experience twice! The jury can use whatever criterion they wish to use when they're deciding the winner.. it's up to the finalists to understand each
juror and try to appeal to them. Russell treating them like pawns & not bothering to foster relationships is what cost him the win. I didn't think
Natalie played better but that's what happens when you play for 2nd place, somebody "less deserving" wins as a result. It's kind of
hilarious, to be honest.
edit: Eliza, you were mentioned in Russell's RNO interview. lol

EOrlins wrote: X. I don't know if I've ever said this, Eliza, but thanks for voting for Chris! Still my favorite winner ever =] Russell's loss was completely his fault. When you pointlessly make alliances with everyone and tell them you're going to take them to the Final 2, and you treat everyone like crap and not respect them at all, then you honestly can't expect them to vote for you to win a million dollars. He made almost no effort to win jury votes from those people, and it cost him. Great strategic game (other than having to rely on a HII, which that alone would've made me vote for someone else), but horrendous social game. Ultimately, Survivor is about winning jury votes, and Russell failed at that. |

JackSparrowBauer wrote: The thing that is most frustrating with jurors is that, yes Russell played pretty sad social game, he was arrogant, obnoxious and even treated human beings like game pieces, however, that is what the game is about. You are supposed to lie, cheat and steal to win. Yes, he could have been humble and far nicer to the people he was voting out but as fans of the game, we would have voted differently. I mean the guy went 8 against 4, found 3 idols without a clue and eliminated every single threat in the game. He had his entire alliance feeding out of his hand. However, best player ever? Hardly. He should have known the jury would have been bitter and thus taken Jaison and Shambo to the final 3. That was his biggest flaw in the game, he became too cocky and it clouded his judgement. I love Natalie, I am happy she won because of her as a person but Russell played the better game by far. In the end, people who understand the game and care about the game would have voted a winner based on strategy and respect for that strategy. Natalie's strategy of riding Russell to the end and letting the jury vote against him simply does not match the absolute domination of a game that result played. Russell losing would be like Richard Hatch losing the first season. It just doesn't sit right and I know you all agree that Rich deserved it.
