Oh, and I loved Marshall giving young Marshall a picture of Lily and young Marshall going into the tent to jerk off

I actually missed the first half of this episode BECAUSE I was smoking lol

I love the idea that the entire premise can be used to explain why we enver saw these characters smoking even though they had for year.s Pure genius. Really
only this show could get away with it.
I also LOVED the future nuggets we got (Robin dating the anchor in 3 months, Lily trying to get pregnant at some point, Lily & Marshall having a boy). Great stuff. "I'm always pre-coital". |

I was totally thrown by the stock, pilot episode footage of the kids.

That was a great episode. The smoking reveal was hilarious. But the best part was most definitely the Tim Horton's coffee can as an ash tray. <3

Didn't they already have a similar issue about the gang missing Robin's news once before? I think when she moved to Japan or something, so the time
difference made it hard for them to watch. Or maybe I'm just crazy.

That episode they all tried to stay awake to watch it, but they ended up arguing/talking about something (I think it was when Barney wore the pajamas) and all
the whacky stuff happened to Robin during the show - I think she caught on fire, and there was an animal.

The first one with them not watching her early show was hilarious...it was when Ted found out Lily broke up him and Robin, but the great part was all this
crazy stuff was happening on Robin's show, and you could see it in the background.

So far I really like Robin's new love interest, the anchor guy. His unflappable cynicism is delightful.
I loved his whole attitude toward the show, and especially Robin, like when he called her a 'precious unicorn' or something along those lines. He's not what I was expecting. |

I like him too - but who couldn't see it coming that he was a terrible anchor, what with having co anchored 1000 times already.
Really really time to introduce the mother though. |

I dont care whetherits introducing the mother or something else, but they have to give Ted a storyline of some sort. Ted not having any real role on the show
is absolutely killing this season.

this season just sucks in comparison to previous season's - I don't think it's all about Ted.

Barney is the heart of this show - in my view anyway. This season sucked because they had him paired with Robin.

Barney isnt the heart of the show, Barney is the comedy of the show. Barney has no real heart, his character is just a bunch of punch lines.
Thats why he didnt work with Robin, in order for that story line to work they'd have to give Barney some depth, and he doesnt have any nor does he need any. |

he is in my opinion - ted can go find his wife and get married, I'd rather watch Barney.
