I couldn't believe how risque it got, with chef JC ordering his assistant to "fluff" Emmanuel, saying that finally he has a job the assistant

However, the show officially jumped the shark last night with Zoe passing but failing and Leo failing but passing. That SUCKED! |

i don't know why people say he's a bad teacher. he's giving them his recipes and showing them his techniques. they take notes and then do what he
did.
he's not as annoying as i thought he'd be. and the show seems to be winging it as they go, so it's pretty fun. |

It's not at all what I expected a cooking school to be like. When they leave they will barely know his recipes it seems. He doesn't teach theory. He
doesn't give guidelines. Maybe that's how cooking schools are--I don't know. But it's not what I would want it to be. It seems more like a
demonstration than a achool. I'd fail for sure. I need more instruction.

I imagine that we're seeing a fraction of the teaching that goes on. There's one challenge a week, but we only see about ten minutes tops of
instruction. What are they doing the rest of the week? Even with the random field trips to farms, farmers markets, and Suzanne's safari room, they still
must spend HOURS in that classroom/kitchen...
