The Hills have Eyes
Rosemary's Baby
WTF?!?! Rosemary's Baby is a classic, and The Hills Have Eyes remake (if that's the one you're talking about) is one of the best horror remakes next to the Dawn of the Dead remake!

I've watched a lot of shitty movies in my time, too many to remember them all, but one that stands out over the years is THE BAD LIEUTENANT. The original
one, not the recent remake (which I won't see for obvious reasons).

I think we have to consider entertainment value vs. the actual quality of the movie. Like the film "Pieces" (the English dub of "Mil Gritos
Tiene la Noche") is the single worst film I have ever seen, but because it is so terrible, it manages to be 100% over-the-top hilarious.
"Santa Claus Conquers the Martians" is one such film like this. The batshit crazy scene where Santa Claus laughs insanely while a bunch of children and telekinetic toys attack the "bad Martians" makes the movie a classic. |

I'm usually pretty good at avoiding watching bad movies, but somehow got roped into watching the horrible Christmas with the Kranks.

i watched about 15 minutes of that on the weekend - the part where Jamie Lee Curtis wanted the Honey Ham and it got squished by the truck. And Tim Taylor
falling off the roof wrapped in rope.

15 minutes might be bearable. I was trapped in the theatre with a bunch of kids.

The actual filming technique was pretty innovative for the time, though. ETA: I'm sure many people living today would be ashamed and disgusted by what is posted here. |

I liked Pitch Black but of course, made you think of Alien. Radha Mitchell's demise was unexpected.
