Give Dave credit, he must have felt a great rush by nailing it on the second shot. Minimal sympathy for Jay. Wait till next year. After coming here I was
reminded the Cher story was missing. Would be great to see her do a walk-on and up-stage Paul, and I am NOT a Cher fan. Darlene Love was in fine fettle.
First time in my life I used fettle in a sentence. I am guessing every back-up singer she used made union scale. Can't blame her for packing the chorus.
Happy for all of them. She looked GREAT! Years younger! Enjoyed this show enormously.
Could have used the Lone Ranger on my own side a few times during the 70's when asshole straights and cops wronged me. |

I love this, because Dave kept his mouth shut so many times about Leno when it related to Dave himself, because that's just the way he is. But now that
Leno's right in the middle of yet another NBC fuck-up, the gloves are completely off. This oughta be pretty fucking funny going forward.
