I wonder how Dex will get Arthur's money to the family without the FBI noticing that the family suddenly has the money. They know Arthur took it from the
bank and they assume he has it.

So glad about the Golden Globe nods. Jennifer Carpenter is the only thing missing.
And can you cunts stop dedicating your life to finding Dexter plot holes? They don't exist, thanks. |

I am presuming that Deb will of course figure out all the plot holes and protect Dexter.. except for the Dark passenger part.. I just think she will figure out
that Dexter was trying to be undercover cop to get the man who shot her.. one thing they do share is exceeding narcissism... thanks Harry and that is why he
played "kyle" to get to Trinity first and kill him as revenge.
Then of course Trinity figured out who they were because Deb was with his daughter when she blew her head off and that is why he went after them to avenge.. sort of a bizarre circle jerk. It will be easily explained and Quinn won't believe it and then he will die so who cares. |

winterchill wrote: I have to agree with winterchill. It is all in good fun, plus it is fun to theorize and chat with other fans. My boyfriend is the definition of BORING when it comes to stuff like this. I rewatched the Dexter episode with him, and at the end he was completely expressionless. I could have told him I was going to the store be back in 5 ... that was his level of emotion at Rita being murdered. Then I tried to talk to him about it and it was frustrating.. hence me here with you guys. :) Any of you applying for the Dexter writer position at BuddyTV? |

I'm too lazy to go back but has anyone brought up Dexter's fingerprints in Arthur's van? He wasn't wearing gloves.

Arthur withdrew about $250,000 in cash I think they said.

Anne Boleyn wrote:In the real world, fingerprinting isn't used as much as they show on TV. They only fingerprint if they are looking for something or need to connect an object, such as a weapon, to a suspect when the weapon was not recovered on the suspect at the time of arrest. There is no need for them to fingerprint the van, since they already know who Trinity is. And if they wanted to fingerprint to look for the kid's prints to prove he was in there, they would compare it to the kid and Arthur and not worry about latent prints of other people. But that's doubtful. Fingerprints are not as easy to lift as TV makes them out to be. I agree the writing wasn't as tight as it could be, but there are also ways to shrug off certain things. |

Dex does NOT need Rita sitting on his shoulder. She's gone. She needs to rest in peace. I was amazed at how sad I was that Rita was killed. The thought of Trinity putting his hands on Rita really upset me. All the next day, I would remember again and it felt like someone I knew had been murdered I was that engrossed in the the show. It's been years since I've had that kind of reaction. I think maybe Leaving Las Vegas with Nicolas Cage was the last time. I wasn't all that fond of Rita but I think her heart was in the right place and all she really wanted to be was a good wife. She just didn't have a good role model to base herself on. I'm looking forward to Dex being single again and would love a season of just random vengeance week after week and skip on chasing down the one serial killer angle for a time. Dex needs to have some fun. |

Another thing I didnt get was Dexter's "sympathy" for Trinity. Why did he turn on the trains & play Venus before he killed him?

Why wouldn't he have "sympathy" for Trinity? Trinity turned out to be a pitiful wretch of a man, tormented for a lifetime by his childhood
trauma. I would think Dexter could relate...

Can we change the title of this thread to "Harry is not Dexter's real father"?

I'll third that suggestion, since the question seems to come up on every page of this thread.

He's not? I so diidnt pay attention in prior seasons. I didn't even know the ice truck killer was Dex's brother until this season.
