You have got to be fucking kidding me! This is a biblical train wreck. And he has SO had work done on his face.

Now I know when Ramsay jumped the shark. Absolutely terrible show.

well, the kindergarten kids were kinda cute, but his frenetic nervousness got to me.

I chose to not record this. I may have to watch for it on Hulu.

Ramsay is way overexposed right now, but I still love him.

Don't bother Cousin Oliver. Epic fail. And I wonder how many of those households also cooking live singed their cook-tops during the flambe portion?

This was more real normal Gordon Ramsay to me. He did a series of these in the UK last year. I liked them, but I guess they're not for the person expecting
the usual Fox version.

He just seemed sort of desperate and nervous to me as if he had to be this kind of enthusiastic Rachel Ray type. He was working too hard at it. This is not who
he is.

Did he give a recipe for Lobster Spaghetti? That always sounds so damn good.

did i spy whoopi goldberg??? what was that about
and lol @ him trying to be all friendly and helpful with dinners and stuff like he's on The Food Network...shows what a fraud his shows are and how overblown his personality is played up for the cameras. |

it was ok...would have been better with people OTHER than cedric and whoopi....both seemed like they won some terrible lottery and HAD to appear.
get 'stars' that have a clue....rimes was worthy....it went by rather quickly-seemed more like half an hr show. |

This was nothing like the BBC version. The whole jay-walking thing and the stupid cedric skit were absolutely terrible. |

i'll have to look online for the BBC version. like with kitchen nightmares, i bet i'll prefer the uk version than the fox one. i don't understand
why they don't produce the show the same way.

he was so frenetic; jumping around and giggling like a school girl..

flybulldog wrote:Well, except for the skits, which were stupid. The Channel 4 (not BBC) version had Gok Wan, Alan Carr, and James Corden...how is that so different? I mean, they're not exactly A-List or known for their cooking skills. They were there to be entertaining. Whether they were or not, it was still interesting to watch them cook a meal in an hour on live tv. YMMV. |

It was just horrible. I never miss Hell's Kitchen, and have even seen most of his restaurant-rescue shows, but I actually turned this off before the end.
Agreeance with all the above posters who said he was trying too hard. And his voice was terrible--high and strangulated. Either he's now got laryngitis,
or his voice is usually enhanced.
