Life is pretty sweet for Jersey Shore 's Snooki, but that doesn't mean she hasn't had some recent hard knocks.

We all know about the guy who clocked her at a bar when she was shooting the new MTV hit, but now the little lady tells us she just got fired from her job...

She was given the pink slip when she told her boss she was heading to the West Coast at the end of last week.

"I was a receptionist at a corporation," Snooki says. "I was getting good money, like $13 an hour. I got fired when I asked for time off to go to L.A."

But truth be told, Snooki's not exactly running to the unemployment line. "She knew I'd be crazy, so thank God that happened," she said of her boss.

And that craziness already includes having to change her phone numbers. "A lot of people are calling my house, and I've gotten so many texts," Snooki said.

Snooki, along with The Situation, Pauly D and JWoww, met Hills star Kristin Cavallari while nightclubbing over the weekend. "She told the girls not to read the stuff online," The Situation said. "I don't do that anymore. Not that I care what people think, but you know people are not going to like you."

Or, as Snooki puts it, "You're going to have haters and you're going to have lovers."

And speaking of lovers, JWoww tells us she is still dating the guy she was with when she moved into the house. In fact, they recently moved in together.

Good to know that PaulyD and his pierced manhood didn't come between them.
