I'm still waiting for the Orphan DVD (released 10/27/09) and The Children DVD (released 10/06/09). These horror movies are at the top of my queue, and I was hoping to see
them around Halloween.

I watched The Unborn with the chick in the white panties and tank top and sorta lost interest once that sequence was over. Horror films aren't my cup of
tea I guess. Kind of interesting to see old school Torah type texts at the center of things instead of Catholic apocalypse stuff, but then they just had to
connect it to the Holocaust? Blech.
I would like to see The Orphan but will keep it out of my queue until you all get it first -- I'm nothing if not gentelmanly. The Hangover: yeah, not expecting much from it, but it ought to do for laundry folding purposes. I've never been embarassed to abuse the USPS for such things. North By Northwest is the one I'm really gunning for and am sort of gaming Netflix to get them to cough it up before going home for Xmas. BTW Star Trek and BSG's The Plan had both been on long wait, but are now here. Not too much of a delay. |

I thought The Hangover was a big letdown. It did have some funny parts but it didn't come together in the end as amusingly as I would have liked and it
wasn't nearly as good as all the buzz suggested.

Agree w/ the Hangover disappointment. The people that loved it pretty much led me to believe it was going to be the Sistine Chapel of comic cinema, but in reality it had a couple of laughs here and there, and that was it. |

I think the hype and buzz this thing got was too big for the movie. Sure there were some memorable lines, but it's not going to go down as one of the greatest comedies of all time. |

You would think that the faster you send back the new releases Netflix would appreciate it, but its just the opposite. If you send back a new release the same
day you get it, frequently netflix will make you wait a day before sending your next in queue. And if you do this often enough, you will wait months before you
get any new release. My whole top ten is new releases that I've waited forever for. My record is three months for Dexter Season three disc one. Also I
love how Netflix makes it as hard as possible to see the movies releasing this week on dvd. It used to have its own feature, then they hid it under the blog
section of the website. Then frequently the top release of the week, like The Hangover won't even be featured in the new releases list at all. I noticed
this with Orphan strangely as well. I added it only after seeing it on someone elses queue.

I've used them for years... I've always mailed my used ones in on Sat and got the top four in my queue (all new releases) on Tues. Now if I get 3 out
of my four new picks, I consider myself lucky.
I only requested two this week, Basterds and Hangover, and got Basterds and like the fifth in my queue. I don't know what is up with their service lately. |
