I've lived in both Indiana and in Kentucky.
In Indiana, if you point out someone nasty, people around you will be all, "I KNOW, right?" and will join you in crossing the street to avoid the
nasty person.
In Kentucky, if you point out someone nasty, people around you will be all, "HOW can you be so stuck up?!" and will sneer at YOU.
In Indiana, I was taught that there are standards that civilized people keep to, and you were supposed to avoid the ones who didn't measure up.
In Kentucky everyone seemed to lie down with dogs, get up with fleas, and never say a word about where they came from.
Do I even need to bother adding that most of the low-down Kentuckians that I knew thought all Indiana people were snobs?
Maybe I'll just move to Michigan or something.
