Looks to be a phsyical challenge.

Russell and Brett's buffs are identical in both shots, as are everyone's clothes. And the challenge is somewhat physical (as much as walking/running
and doing puzzles can be). Seems much more likely that the hike is immediately pre-IC than after it.

I hope the final challenge will be an interesting endurance challenge again, and not the WTF challenges they've been doing since China.

There probably is an endurance challenge, because Russ says "Let's see if a 21 year-old can outdo me when it comes to pain", obviously referring
to Brett.

Maybe both Russ and/or Brett are injured in the final 5 challenge. Both are in pain, and Russ thinks he can endure pain better then Brett can.
