I think people are over reacting who are saying there should be no winner picks next season, stop and think how that'll impact things. Exclude the winner pick from the edgic chart if you want, and tell everyone to post their winner spec/picks in spoiler tags if you want, but that's not going to solve the problem. Even if there's no voting on winner picks people will STILL discuss who their winner picks based on edgic are, it'll just become whoever's supporters are the loudest will win out at their pick 'seeming' to have majority edgic support. You won't be able to get everyone to always use spoiler tags when discussing their edgic winner picks, it's just wishful thinking. Not making winner picks in edgic would be collecting season long edgic data for no real reason, and how do we know we're not going to be so scared by spoilers in S21 then that we won't post winner picks there either, when would we use the S20 edgic data then? The only way you're going to dispel the fear about people making edgic picks is to do edgic somewhere that spoiled posters can't post and can't make edgic picks.

Get some brave soul to take all S19 spoilers, post them in speculation with a sticky, because there are apparently S20 spoilers in the spoilers forum. I know non spoiled people like me would want to read the spoilers forum after the season ends but you can't this season without risking S20 stuff. DON'T SCROLL DOWN OR GO ANY FURTHER THERE ARE SPOILERS. I'm very lucky, I had my screen zoomed in more than usual the last few days after zooming in on a photo, so all I could see was the douche saying "I thought everyone should know the boot list" which gave me time to smash my computer and jump for cover. I would like to know all the spoilers this season and about the time they were posted, but because of next season spoiler warnings, maybe someone after the finale can just post them here rather than any of us risking ruining S20? I don't think the poster ruined Edgic. This is something that we've been discussing before they posted--should we continue with the risk of spoilers being obvious (everyone picking certain people as their picks). Spoilers always trickle into winner picks somehow, but next season probably would more than ever. Based on the screenname of the person I've been sent, I know who they are, and chances are their intention was to disspell of edgic (to get back at me). Are we going to let that happen? He's from the same group of people that every season says I read spoilers (yes, Peih-Gee sure was spoiled to win, wasn't she dumbasses?) and that I should be "banned from Sucks and thrown out of Edgic". Some people hold grudges for far too long ;) To those looking for a safe (but silly way) to post here... use a piece of paper to cover up the screen, Lol and only read posts by posters you trust.

Remove this ad If you use Firefox there's actually a way to block posters so that you don't have to see any of their posts. Search around in OT and you'll find a thread about it. The problem is someone can just sign up with a ghostnic and post spoilers that way. Bottom line is that there is no way to 100% be sure you will not accidentally read spoilers. It's just one of the risks of posting on a message board. Abby -- Yup, it's the Colbster. Looking good as always.

Because I was accidentally spoiled and I'm one of the few that actually will admit (I'm 100% certain there is at least someone else in here who will not come forward although they saw the same posts I did), are you guys all going to be ignoring my posts next season? I really hope not, because I didn't do anything wrong. At least I admitted I saw the troll's posts. There are others who will act like they didn't. But they did.

Nobody wants to admit it and I appreciate astro for manning up and admitting it. I saw those spoilers but I'm more of an Edgic observer & don't post my own ratings (I never find the time to rewatch during the week) so it doesn't matter too much. But if you saw the spoilers, just man up and say that you did.
