I hate going to buffets but the few times I have gone, I only leave a small tip cause I have to get my own food. Otherwise I tip 20% for excellent service.

I didn't really tip much before, but do you know how much waitresses make? And they have to do MORE than just waiting on you, too. They do a helluva lot more. Assholes. Oh, and if you don't tip we talk about you and fuck up your order if we ever see you again. And every single restaurant is connected. Its like the Mafia. Tip or get sick from someone spitting in your food. Your choice. |

Like some have mentioned in this thread, servers in my area make about 2.50 an hour. They live off tips. My friend was a server and she wouldn't even pick
up her hourly wage checks sometimes or would forget for weeks to deposit it, because it was so worthless and small.

Back in my dating days, if the guy was paying and tipped poorly, it was a major strike against him. I didn't care what he spent on the meal, pizza's
fine by me, but if someone is inconsiderate to the waitstaff, they probably will be to you too, down the line.

Why doesn't everyone just cook and eat at home? ...then clean up the pots and pans and do the dishes? If you want to be waited on, you should be willing to pay for it IMO.... a couple of bucks for a tip ain't squat when all you have to do after your meal is push yourself away from the table. |

It's one of the benefits of their job, like teachers getting the summer off. If you don't like tipping than just avoid going to a restaurant or become
a waiter yourself so you can get tips.

This topic is full of cheap ass bitches. If you can't afford to tip, go to a drive through. You'd probably like the food better.
If you think it's against your stupid principles, go hit a drive thru. Cheap fucks that find a reason to not tip anyone really need to just fucking die. If' you've ever stiffed a server for any reason, then just die you cheap useless piece of fuck. If I get horrible service, I'll tip 15%. Good service these days warants 30%. It sounds like a bunch of amateurs in this thread. Their night out is an evening at Denny's? |
