The one posting spoilers last night that I saw wasn't starting with g.
It was some kind of bell name, IIRC. But I also didn't see the first round, just saw posts about it. Not that it matters as much to me, I've seen all the spoilers anyways. |

Just to get this out before the finale:
If Natalie wins, it supports collective editing. If Mick wins, the merge''s usefulness is lowered. If Russell wins, then too high visibility is not an issue if done a certain way. If Jaison wins, redemption arcs are go! If Brett wins....just no. |

As for winning, I knew Ashley and Liz were definitely gone the ep they got INV. I'm afraid Nat is in the same boat. cindi, astro: I agree, Russell has been a contender since ep1. I said even then, "Could this be the season of the big OTTN winner?" He'll blow new holes in Edgic stats, but we've seen how he has a quality edit, which can trump the high-Vis, OTTN tone thing. I can certainly see the editors tossing a high-vis curve ball. Russell has been a total gamer and has pulled off great moves that no editor or Edgician can overlook. We rely on stats to give us structure, but we also see the unprecedented aspects of Russell's story. His big surprise as a winner? He and everyone has said it: he's too ruthless to win. Which would be the reason all Galu could vote for him, along with anyone else who was honest enough to acknowledge his game. Russell, "I'm still here because I play hard." Monica, "And because of idols." Russell, "That's playing hard." Go Mick! Remember to vote today for last ep! |
