Remove this ad Natalie was a worthless bitch whose position easily could have been replaced by anyone else from foa foa (except maybe Liz who seemed ready to jump to Galu) Without Russell's intense gameplay (finding idols without clues) foa foa has no shot to take down Galu, bottom line Mick and Natalie would have been long gone without Russ. The guy dominated the game strategically and led foa foa like sheep from day 1. So you guys who think Natalie deserved it conveniently forget that half of this game was pre merge and Russell owned that tribe. Also, he gave BY FAR the best jury speech and IMO was robbed of the million and the title. At the end of the day this will be remembered as Russell's season, a slight consolation prize. Hopefully, he takes the votes in S20 but it seems unlikely.

It was pretty obvious all the way along. Russell never thought about facing the jury, just about getting there. He was too busy preening.

Posts: 204 (12/21/09 12:50 AM) More Recent Posts	I admit that the social game is a part of playing up for votes from the jury, but the game is also about Outwit, Outplay, Outlast everyone. Russell did that way better than Natalie. Russell could have gotten rid of Natalie anytime he wanted, and when he told her that she was next to go if Brett won immunity, she seemed to accept her fate as the next to go until Russell changed his mind. Natalie did shit in this game accept to be nicer to the jury than Russell did. The jury accept for Shambo & I assume John did not vote emotionally, they voted by who played the game the best even tho they were screwed over and lied to by Russell as well. I have alot more respect towards Shambo & John than the rest of the jury. The rest of the jury suck just as bad as Natalie. Jenna, you just got replaced. Natalie is the new worst winner ever.

I could have handled a Natalie win had she managed to turn in a decent job on the jury, but you are right, she even lucked out on that when Erik saved her ass. Too bad it was another bitter jury who could not see past their own defeat. As much as Russel pissed me off the first few episodes, the guy definitely deserved the win. I put Natalie's win behind Bob's (he as least worked hard around camp.)

I'm very divided on the outcome, as both Natalie and Russell embody half of the qualities I want in a winner. Never has the contrast between a good social game and good strategic one been so stark. Yay for Russel beating Mick for 2nd and Shambo for the $100,000.

That makes him more pro-female than Coach, JT, and Terry right away. Actions speak louder than words, regardless of his motives. Russell was the one trying to rally the men on Foa Foa against the possibility of a women's alliance and was adamant that there be a male majority. Then he used the same reasoning to go after Laura and her minions. And as Natalie said, any woman unwilling to be subservient to Russell was immediately targeted. That's a lot of knuckle dragging to gloss over in order to root for him. But as long as he doesn't vote out Parvati, he gets a pass, as I figured.

Everyone thought,even himself, played a flawless game. But he actually forgot about the SOCIAL GAME. Natalie played a flawless social game, and with that she outwitted and outplayed Russel.
