While some skills get you a win against the jury. This jury clearly valued friendliness over cut-throat game play. That was why Natalie was the winner.

If not for Russell, the Foa Foa four would have been voted out by Galu and Natalie would not have even made it to the F3.

None of the Galus have ever said they voted for Erik because of Natalie. They all said it was because he was untrustworthy and kept talking to Foa Foa - he shot himself in the foot. And it seems to be pretty widely accepted that if it was anyones fault but Eriks then it was Daves. Natalie didn't do shit except bitch about him to people who were already bitching about him. Russell was always up to shit or talking so they had tons of tape of him I think if they had anything on the rest, other than Shambo it would have been aired. Then when he made it to the end, getting one tribe to pick off their own.... that was pretty amazing. I think the jury was bitter. At least he won second place - I do think he should have won though, even though he wasn't my favorite. But really who was there to like on this show. All of them sucked.

I didn't hate him from the beginning, because the stuff he did was so off the wall crazy at the beginning, I just laughed and laughed and thought for sure the other players were going to wake up and see what he was up to and vote him out. I starting liking Russell for how interesting and wacky he was making this season start out and I thought, as long as he doesn't win or make it to the final I'll be happy. Then, like you Pink, when the merge happened and Russell really started impressing me with his "game play" I jumped fully on board the Russell love train and with each Galu member sent packing my respect for Russell grew more and more. Then the icing on the cake, Russell wins the FINAL immunity challenge. This guy played hard from start to finish and for the jury to pull that shit and reward Natalie for all of Russell's hard work is just disgusting. And I also agree that there was no one else to root for by the time of the merge for me. There was not one person who impressed me with anything they did, other than Russell, good or bad. I could have rooted for Shambo if she wasn't such an emotional player and and a bit of a loon. Everyone else just outright sucked. They did absolutely nothing.
