Stop saying someone "deserved" to win. That bullshit doesn't fly on Survivor.
The person that deserved to win is the person that makes it to the end and gets the jury to give them the majority of the votes. Simple as that. |

There is a difference between playing the game, and rubbing all their noses in it.
If he had been a *smidge* more humble he would have walked away with it. Ironic that he told Natalie on the final day, "I'm still playing this game". He didn't know how to play the final jury part, and it lost him the title he wanted so badly. |

Richard was way more likable/charismatic than Russell. Also, a lot of the jury did not like Kelly, whereas the this jury liked Natalie.

OK, OK, I'm less annoyed about seeing Jerri a third time than I am about seeing the other 8 people a third time.
I'd just rather we saw some old favorites/hatreds like johninomaha or matthew von erdafelt or even penny ramsey than the same group of media whores again. |

Alpha type players have to walk that fine line between being upfront about their aggressive game and yet be at least somewhat respectful of the ones
they're screwing over. Todd of Survivor:China was particularly good at that. As mentioned before, if Russell had been just a tad less contemptuous of the
jury, he might've had a chance. It usually bugs me when a player (even when I dislike them) does all the dirty work but doesn't get credit, but
Russell's behavior at the finale was so childish and embarrassing that I'm glad he lost. Even more so, I hate it when players give the self-righteous
"I played an honest game" morality speech that Mick gave, so I'm happy he didn't win. Natalie's not a power player, but she hitched her
wagon to the right people and proved to be fairly tough in challenges, so good for her. She also knew when to keep her mouth shut, something Russell could
stand to learn if he already didn't think he knew it all.

yeah I feel that he really nailed his own coffin when in his opening statement he started telling the jurors one by one just how he pwnt each of them. if youre
gonna be upfront about your devious gameplay at least just generalize without making each juror feel like a loser for letting you play them.
