Hey, has anyone figured out what John said to Probst as the credits were rolling on the reunion? Jeff goes over to apologize for not getting to him. Does John
give him shit for tanking his shot at an endorsement deal with Schick now that we'll forget who he is in 3 days?
As for mass controversy - in a season of completely null players, Russell was the one-eyed king in the land of the blind. If he had won, he would have falsely gone down as one of the greatest winners ever, despite having made ridiculous vote-me-off moves in the first few weeks that his tribemates missed due only to collective stupidity. I was rooting for him to win at the end as by far the best player this season, but there's no real injustice in his loss. Oh my effing god. When will people realize that juries in general vote partly with the idea of "he played a better game" but 99% of the time vote
with the idea of "I really can't stand __'s guts, so I'll give the money to ____." People couldn't stand Russell. They couldn't
stomach voting for him. It was simple as that. This wasn't like ED/Daniele in which both players were pretty vile people and so it was like choosing
between horseshit and dogshit. Natalie was a nice pleasant person who didn't make any enemies. A smart OR "evil" Survivor would have realizd that
this is NOT the type of person you want sitting next to you in the finals. Brian the Lord and Master realized that, so he took the very disliked Clay. The
Tominator realized this, so he took the pathetic Katie. Danni realized this, so she took Steph. See how it works?

want for best player. I could be on the jury and say the best player is the person who has the biggest shoe size.

"What's my favorite movie?" Arbitrary voting criteria has been a part of this game from the start. Whether it's a stupid idea or a cornerstone of the game, anyone who doesn't understand that going in and plan accordingly has no cause to bitch about it when it bites them in the ass. |
